The Ancient of Days
9 “I kept looking
Until (A)thrones were set up,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His (B)clothing was like white snow
And the (C)hair of His head like pure wool.
His (D)throne was [a]ablaze with fire,
Its (E)wheels were a burning fire.
10 A river of (F)fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him;
(G)Thousands upon thousands were attending Him,
And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;
The (H)court sat,
And (I)the books were opened.
The Son of Man
13 “I kept looking in the night visions,
And behold, with the clouds of heaven
One like a (A)Son of Man was coming,
And He came up to the Ancient of Days
And came near before Him.
14 And to Him was given [a](B)dominion,
Glory, and (C)a kingdom,
(D)That all the peoples, nations, and men of every tongue
Might serve Him.
(E)His [b]dominion is an everlasting [c]dominion
Which will not be taken away;
(F)And His kingdom is one
Which will not be destroyed.
Yahweh Reigns Forevermore
93 (A)Yahweh [a]reigns, He is (B)clothed with majesty;
Yahweh has (C)clothed and girded Himself with strength;
Indeed, the (D)world is established, it will not be shaken.
2 Your (E)throne is established from of old;
You (F)are from everlasting.
3 The (G)rivers have lifted up, O Yahweh,
The rivers have lifted up their voice,
The rivers lift up their pounding waves.
4 More than the voices of many waters,
Than the mighty breakers of the sea,
Yahweh (H)on high is mighty.
5 Your (I)testimonies are very faithful;
(J)Holiness befits Your house,
O Yahweh, [b]forevermore.
Message to the Seven Churches
4 (A)John to (B)the seven churches that are in (C)Asia: (D)Grace to you and peace, from (E)the One who is and who was and who [a]is to come, and from (F)the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, (G)the faithful witness, the (H)firstborn of the dead, and the (I)ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who (J)loves us and released us from our sins [b]by His blood— 6 and He has made us to be a (K)kingdom, (L)priests to [c](M)His God and Father—(N)to Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen. 7 (O)Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and (P)every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will (Q)mourn over Him. Yes, amen.
8 “I am (R)the Alpha and the Omega,” says the [d](S)Lord God, “(T)who is and who was and who [e]is to come, the Almighty.”
33 Therefore Pilate (A)entered again into the Praetorium, and summoned Jesus and said to Him, “(B)Are You the King of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answered, “Are you saying this from yourself, or did others tell you about Me?” 35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered You to me; what did You do?” 36 Jesus answered, “(C)My kingdom [a]is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be delivered over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not [b]from here.” 37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “(D)You yourself said I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, (E)to bear witness to the truth. (F)Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
