23 “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” saith the Lord.

² Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed My people: “Ye have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings,” saith the Lord.

³ “And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

⁴ And I will set up shepherds over them who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking,” saith the Lord.

⁵ “Behold, the days come,” saith the Lord, “that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch; and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is His name whereby He shall be called: The Lord Our Righteousness.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

² He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.

³ He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

⁵ Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

¹¹ Therefore, remember that ye, being in times past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by those who are called the Circumcision in the flesh so made by hands—

¹² remember that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

¹³ But now in Christ Jesus, ye who once were far off have been brought nigh by the blood of Christ.

¹⁴ For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us,

¹⁵ having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might make in Himself one new man out of the two, so making peace,

¹⁶ and that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby.

¹⁷ He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were nigh;

¹⁸ for through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

¹⁹ Now therefore, ye are strangers and foreigners no more, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

²⁰ Ye are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

²¹ in whom all the building, fitly framed together, groweth unto a holy temple in the Lord,

²² in Whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

³⁰ And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.

³¹ And He said unto them, “Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure, even so much as to eat.

³² And they departed into a desert place by boat privately.

³³ And the people saw them departing, and many recognized Him and ran thither on foot out of all the cities and outdistanced them, and came together unto Him.

³⁴ And Jesus, when He came out, saw many people and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.

⁵³ And when they had crossed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

⁵⁴ And when they had come out of the boat, straightway the people recognized Him,

⁵⁵ and ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry on beds those who were sick to where they heard He was.

⁵⁶ And whithersoever He entered, into villages or cities or the country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought Him that they might touch even the border of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made whole.
