75 Unto Thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto Thee do we give thanks. For that Thy name is near, Thy wondrous works declare.

² When I shall receive the congregation, I will judge uprightly.

³ When the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved, I bear up the pillars of it. Selah

⁴ I said unto the fools, “Deal not foolishly,” and to the wicked, “Lift not up the horn.

⁵ Lift not up your horn on high; speak not with a stiff neck.”

⁶ For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south,

⁷ but God is the Judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.

⁸ For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red and fully mixed; and He poureth out the same. But as for the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out and drink them.

⁹ But I will declare it for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ All the horns of the wicked will I also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

12 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time. And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one who shall be found written in the book.

² And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

³ And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

⁴ But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

⁵ Then I, Daniel, looked; and behold, there stood two others, the one on this side of the bank of the river and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, “How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?”

⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

⁸ And I heard, but I understood not. Then said I, “O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

⁹ And he said, “Go thy way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

¹⁰ Many shall be purified and made white and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

¹² Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

¹³ But go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.”

¹⁵ But when Jesus knew of it, He withdrew Himself from thence. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

¹⁶ And He charged them that they should not make Him known,

¹⁷ that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

¹⁸ “Behold My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased: I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

¹⁹ He shall not strive nor cry, neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets.

²⁰ A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench till He send forth judgment unto victory;

²¹ and in His name shall the Gentiles trust.”
