感恩
3 我在日夜的祈祷中时常想到你，我感谢神，就是我像先祖那样以清白的良心所事奉的那一位。 4 每当想起你的泪水，我就切切地想去见你，好让我的喜乐得以满足。 5 我想起你里面那不虚假的信仰，这信仰先是在你外祖母罗伊丝和你母亲犹妮丝里面，我深信也在你里面。
6 因这理由，我提醒你：要把神的恩赐再如火挑旺起来；这恩赐是藉着我的按手，在你里面的。 7 实际上，神所赐给我们的，不是胆怯的灵，而是大能、慈爱、自制的灵。
