God’s Eternal Reign
93 The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed, enveloped in strength.
The world is firmly established;
it cannot be shaken.(A)
2 Your throne has been established
from the beginning;[a]
you are from eternity.(B)
3 The floods have lifted up, Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their pounding waves.(C)
4 Greater than the roar of a huge torrent –
the mighty breakers of the sea –
the Lord on high is majestic.(D)
5 Lord, your testimonies are completely reliable;(E)
holiness adorns your house
for all the days to come.(F)
18 ‘Imprint these words of mine on your hearts and minds, bind them as a sign on your hands, and let them be a symbol[a] on your foreheads.[b] 19 Teach them to your children,(A) talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates,(B) 21 so that as long as the heavens are above the earth, your days and those of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors.(C)
