M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan
25 “When there shall be strife between men, and they shall come to judgment, and sentence shall be given upon them, and the righteous shall be justified, and the wicked condemned,
2 “then, if the wicked is worthy to be beaten, the judge shall cause him to lie down and to be beaten before his face, according to his trespass, to a certain number.
3 “Forty shall he cause him to have, and not past, lest if he should exceed and beat him above that with many stripes, your brother should be dishonored.
4 “You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn.
5 “If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead shall not marry outside, to a stranger. But, his kinsman shall go in to her, and take her to wife, and do the kinsman’s office to her.
6 “And the firstborn which she bears shall succeed in the name of his dead brother, so that his name is not put out of Israel.
7 “And if the man will not take his kinswoman, then let his kinswoman go up to the gate, to the elders, and say, ‘My kinsman refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not do the office of a kinsman to me.’
8 “Then the elders of the city shall call him and commune with him. If he stands and says, ‘I will not take her’,
9 “then his kinswoman shall come to him in the presence of the elders and loosen his shoe from his foot and spit in his face and answer, and say, ‘So shall it be done to that man who will not build up his brother’s house.’
10 “And his name shall be called in Israel, ‘The house of him whose shoe is put off.’
11 “When men strive together, one with another, if the wife of one tries to save her husband from the hand of him who strikes him by putting forth her hand and taking him by his privates,
12 “then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall not spare her.
13 “You shall not have two kinds of weights in your bag, a great and a small.
14 “Nor shall you have diverse measures, a great and a small, in your house.
15 “You shall have a right and just weight. A perfect and a just measure shall you have, so that your days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
16 “For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are abomination to the LORD your God.
17 “Remember what Amalek did to you on the way, when you had come out of Egypt —
18 “how he met you on the way and struck the last of you, all who were feeble behind you—when you were faint and weary. And he did not fear God.
19 “Therefore, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance, to possess it, you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under Heaven. Do not forget.”
116 I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my prayers.
2 For He has inclined His ear to me, when I called in my days.
3 The snares of death surrounded me and the griefs of the grave caught me. I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then I called upon the Name of the LORD, “I implore You, O LORD, deliver my soul!”
5 The LORD is merciful and righteous; and our God is full of compassion.
6 The LORD preserves the simple. I was in misery and He saved me.
7 Return to your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has been beneficial to you.
8 For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I shall walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 I believed. Therefore, I spoke. I was very troubled.
11 I said in my fear, “All men are liars.”
12 What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me?
13 I will take the Cup of Salvation and call upon the Name of the LORD.
14 I will pay my vows to the LORD even now, in the presence of all His people.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
16 Behold, LORD, for I am Your servant. I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid. You have broken my bonds.
17 I will offer a sacrifice of praise to You and will call upon the Name of the LORD.
18 I will pay my vows to the LORD even now, in the presence of all His people,
19 In the courts of the LORD’s house, even in the midst of You, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
52 Arise! Arise! Put on your strength, O Zion! Put on the garments of your beauty, O Jerusalem, the holy City. For henceforth, the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust. Arise and sit down, O Jerusalem. Loosen the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter Zion!
3 For thus says the LORD: “You were sold for nothing. Therefore, you shall be redeemed without money.”
4 For thus says the Lord GOD: “At first, My people went down into Egypt to sojourn there. And
5 “Now, therefore, what do I have here,” says the LORD, “that My people are taken away for nothing? And those who rule over them make them howl,” says the LORD, “And My Name is continually blasphemed, all day long.
6 “Therefore, My people shall know My Name. Therefore, they shall know on that day that I Am He Who speaks, ‘Behold, it is I.’”
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who declares and publishes peace, who declares good tidings and publishes salvation, saying to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
8 The voice of your watchmen shall be heard. They shall lift up their voices and shout together. For they shall see eye to eye when the LORD shall restore Zion.
9 O, you desolate places of Jerusalem, be glad and rejoice together! For the LORD has comforted His people! He has redeemed Jerusalem!
10 The LORD has made His Holy Arm bare in the sight of all the Gentiles. And all the ends of the Earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there and touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her. Be clean, you who bear the vessels of the LORD.
12 For you shall not go out with haste or depart by fleeing away. But the LORD will go before you. And the God of Israel will gather you together.
14 “Just as many were astonished at you, His appearance was more deformed than any other man, and His form more than the sons of men. So shall He sprinkle many nations. The kings shall shut their mouths at Him. For that which had not been told to them, they shall see. And that which they had not heard, they shall understand.”
22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life - clear as crystal - proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it - and on either side of the river - was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve kinds of fruits and gave fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree served to heal the nations.
3 And there shall no longer be any curse. But the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
4 And they shall see His face. And His Name shall be on their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there. And they need no lamp, nor light of the Sun. For the Lord God gives them Light. And they shall reign forevermore.
6 And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy Prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly be fulfilled.
7 “Behold, I come shortly. Blessed is he who keeps the Words of the Prophecy of this Book.”
8 And I am John, who saw and heard these things. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9 But he said to me, “See that you do not do it. For I am your fellow servant; and of your brothers, the Prophets; and of those who keep the Words of this Book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book. For the time is at hand.
11 “He who is unjust, let him still be unjust. And he who is filthy, let him still be filthy. And he who is righteous, let him still be righteous. And he who is holy, let him still be holy.
12 “And behold, I come shortly. And My reward is with Me: to give to every man according as his work shall be.
13 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 “Blessed are those who do His Commandments; in that the Tree of Life may be their right and they may enter in through the gates, into the City.
15 “For outside shall be dogs and enchanters and whoremongers and murderers and idolaters and whoever loves or makes lies.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the generation of David, and the Bright Morning Star.
17 “And the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let him who is thirsty, come. And let whoever will, partake of the Water of Life freely.
18 “For I testify to everyone who hears the Words of the Prophecy of this Book. If anyone shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this Book.
19 And if anyone shall take away from the Words of the Book of this Prophecy, God shall take out his part of the Book of Life, and of the holy City, and from those things which are written in this Book.”
20 He who testifies these things, says, “Surely I come quickly. Amen.” Even so, come Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
