Version
Deuteronomy 23

23 “No one who is hurt by crushing, or who has had his private parts cut off, shall enter into the Congregation of the LORD.

“A bastard shall not enter into the Congregation of the LORD. Up to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the Congregation of the LORD.

“The Ammonites and the Moabites shall not enter into the Congregation of the LORD. Up to their tenth generation they shall not enter into the Congregation of the LORD, forever,

“because they did not meet you with bread and water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired Balaam — the son of Beor, of Pethor in Aram-naharaim — against you, to curse you.

“Nevertheless, the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam. But the LORD your God turned the curse to a blessing for you because the LORD your God loved you.

“You shall not seek their peace, nor their prosperity all your days, forever.

“You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. Nor shall you abhor an Egyptian, because you were a stranger in his land.

The children who are begotten of those in their third generation shall enter into the Congregation of the LORD.

“When you go out with the army against your enemies, then keep yourself from all wickedness.

10 “If there is anyone among you who is unclean by that which comes to him by night, he shall go out of the camp, and shall not enter the camp.

11 “But at evening, he shall wash with water. And when the Sun is down, he shall enter the camp.

12 “You shall also have a place outside the camp to which you shall go out.

13 “And you shall have an implement among your weapons. And when you would sit down outside, you shall dig with it. And upon returning, you shall cover your excrements.

14 “For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give you your enemies before you. Therefore, your camp shall be holy, so that He sees no filthy thing in you, and turn away from you.

15 “You shall not deliver the servant to his master, who has escaped from his master to you.

16 “He shall dwell with you, amongxus you, in whatever place he shall choose, in one of your cities he likes best. You shall not trouble him.

17 “There shall be no whore from the daughters of Israel. Nor shall there be a whore keeper from the sons of Israel.

18 “You shall bring neither the price of a whore nor the price of a dog into the House of the LORD your God, for any vow. For both of these are abomination to the LORD your God.

19 “You shall not charge interest to your brother — on money, on meat, on anything that may be lent with interest.

20 “You may lend with interest to a stranger. But you shall not lend with interest to your brother, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land to which you go to possess.

21 “When you shall vow a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not be slow to pay it. For the LORD your God will surely require it of you. And so it would be sin to you.

22 “But when you abstain from vowing, it shall be no sin to you.

23 “That which has gone out of your lips you shall keep and perform, as you have vowed it willingly to the LORD your God. You have spoken it with your mouth.

24 “When you come to your neighbor’s vineyard, then you may eat grapes at your pleasure, as much as you will. But you shall put none in your container.

25 “When you come to your neighbor’s corn, you may pluck the ears with your hand. But you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor’s corn.”

Psalm 112-113

112 Blessed is the man who fears the LORD and delights greatly in His Commandments.

His seed shall be mighty upon Earth. The generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Riches and treasures shall be in his house and his righteousness endures forever.

To the righteous arises light in darkness. He is merciful and full of compassion, and righteous.

A good man is merciful and lends. He will measure his affairs by judgment.

Surely, he shall never be moved. The righteous shall be held in everlasting remembrance.

He will not be afraid of evil tidings. His heart is fixed, believing in the LORD.

His heart is established. He will not fear, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

He has distributed, given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever. His horn shall be exalted with glory.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angry. He shall gnash with his teeth and melt away. The desire of the wicked shall perish. Praise the LORD

113 Praise, O you servants of the LORD! Praise the Name of the LORD!

Blessed be the Name of the LORD from henceforth and forever!

The LORD’s Name is praised from the rising of the Sun to the going down of the same.

The LORD is high above all nations, His Glory above the heavens.

Who is like the LORD our God, Who has His dwelling on High;

Who abases Himself to behold things in the heavens and on the Earth?

He raises the needy out of the dust, lifts up the poor out of the dung,

so that He may set him with the princes, even with the princes of His people.

He makes the barren woman dwell with a family, a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!

Isaiah 50

50 Thus says the LORD: “Where is that bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have cast off? Or, who is the creditor to whom I sold you? Behold, you are sold for your iniquities. And your mother is forsaken because of your transgressions.

“Why was there no man when I came, and no one to answer when I called? Is My Hand so shortened that it cannot help? Or, have I no power to deliver? Behold, at My rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.

“I clothe the heavens with darkness and make sackcloth their covering.”

The Lord GOD has given me a tongue of the learned, so that I should know how to minister a timely word to him who is weary. He will raise me up in the morning. In the morning He will awaken my ear to hear, as the learned.

The Lord GOD has opened my ear and I was not rebellious. Nor did I turn back.

I gave my back to the those who struck me and my cheeks to those who pluck out the beard. I did not hide my face from shame and spitting.

For the Lord GOD will help me. Therefore, I shall not be confounded. Therefore, I have set my face like a flint. And I know that I shall not be ashamed.

He Who justifies me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near me.

Behold, the Lord GOD will help me. Who is he who can condemn me? Lo, they shall grow old as a garment. The moth shall eat them up.

10 Who is among you who fears the LORD? Let him hear the voice of His servant. He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in the Name of the LORD and rely upon his God.

11 “Behold, all you who kindle a fire and are surrounded with sparks. Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks that you have kindled. This shall you have from My Hand: You shall lie down in sorrow.”

Revelation 20

20 And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

And he took the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan. And he bound him for a thousand years;

and cast him into the bottomless pit. And he shut him up and sealed the door upon him - so that he would deceive the people no more - till the thousand years were completed. For after that, he must be let loose for a little season.

And I saw thrones. And they sat upon them. And judgment was given them. And I saw the souls of those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and who did not worship the beast or his image. Nor had they taken his mark upon their foreheads, nor on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead shall not live again until the thousand years are finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he who takes part in the first resurrection. For over such, the second death has no power. But they shall be the priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And when the thousand years are over, Satan shall be let loose from his prison,

and shall go out to deceive the people who are in the four quarters of the Earth - even Gog and Magog - to gather them together to battle whose number is as the sand of the sea.

And they marched across the breadth of the Earth. And they surrounded the tents of the saints, and the beloved city. But fire came down from God, out of Heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone - where the beast and the false prophet are - and shall be tormented, day and night, for evermore.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and One who sat on it; from Whose face fled away both the Earth and Heaven, and their place was found no more.

12 And I saw the dead, both great and small, stand before God. And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged for those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in her. And death and Hell delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one of them, according to their works.

14 And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.

15 And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life, was cast into the Lake of Fire.
