Deuteronomy 13-14

13 “If there arises among you a prophet (or a dreamer of dreams) and he gives you a sign or wonder —

“and the sign or the wonder which he has told you comes to be — saying, ‘Let us go after other gods which you have not known. And let us serve them’,

“you shall not listen to the words of the prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams. For the LORD your God tests you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

“You shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear Him, and shall keep His Commandments, and obey His Voice. And you shall serve Him and cling to Him.

“But that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, he shall be killed, because he has spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God (Who brought you out of the land of Egypt and delivered you out of the house of bondage) to thrust you out of the way in which the LORD your God Commanded you to walk. So shall you take the evil away forth from the midst of you.

“If your brother (the son of your mother) or your own son, or your daughter, or the wife in your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods (which you have not known, you nor your fathers)

“from the gods of the people who are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from the one end of the Earth to the other,

“you shall not yield to him or hear him. Nor shall your eye pity him or show mercy or keep him secret.

“But you shall surely kill him. Your hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and then the hands of the people.

10 “And you shall stone him with stones, so that he dies — because he has gone about to thrust you away from the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage —

11 “and so that all Israel may hear and fear and do no more any such wickedness as this among you.

12 “If you shall hear it said concerning any of your cities which the LORD your God has given you to dwell in,

13 ‘Wicked men have gone out from among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known’,

14 “Then you shall seek and search and inquire diligently. And if true, and the thing certain that such an abomination has been committed among you,

15 “you shall surely kill the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword — destroy it utterly and all that is in it, and its cattle — with the edge of the sword.

16 “And you shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its streets and burn the city and all its spoil with fire — every bit —to the LORD your God. And it shall be rubble forever. It shall not be built again.

17 “And nothing of the damned thing shall cling to your hand, so that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of His wrath and show you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you (as He has sworn to your fathers)

18 “when you shall obey the Voice of the LORD your God and keep all His Commandments which I command you this day, that you do that which is right in the Eyes of the LORD your God.”

14 “You are the children of the LORD your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make yourself bald between your eyes for the dead.

“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. And the LORD has chosen you to be a precious people to Himself, above all the people who are upon the Earth.

“You shall eat no type of abomination.

“These are the beasts which you shall eat: beef, sheep, lamb, young goat, female goat,

“deer, gazelle, red deer, clean mountain goat, antelope, clean mountain sheep.

“And every beast that parts the hoof and divides the cleft into two claws and is of the beasts that chew the cud, that shall you eat.

“But these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those that divide and split the hoof — the camel, the hare, the rock badger (for they chew the cud but do not divide the hoof) — they shall be unclean to you.

“Also, the swine, because he does not divide the hoof and does not chew the cud, shall be unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh or touch their dead carcasses.

“These you shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall you eat.

10 “And whatever has no fins or scales, you shall not eat. It shall be unclean to you.

11 “Of all clean birds you shall eat.

12 “But these are those of which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,

13 “the hawk, the falcon, the kite (after their kind),

14 “any kind of raven,

15 “the ostrich, the night crow, the seagull, the hawk (after her kind),

16 “the little owl, the great owl, the chameleon,

17 “the pelican, the carrion vulture, nor the cormorant:

18 “the stork, the heron (in his kind), the hoopoe, and the bat.

19 “And every creeping thing that flies shall be unclean to you. It shall not be eaten.

20 “You may eat of all clean birds.

21 “You shall eat of nothing that dies alone. But you shall give it to the stranger that is within your gates, so that he may eat it. Or you may sell it to a stranger. For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

22 “You shall give the tithe of all the increase of your seed that comes forth from the field, year by year.

23 “And you shall eat before the LORD your God (in the place which He shall choose to cause His Name to dwell) the tithe of your corn and of your wine and of your oil and of the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep, so that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.

24 “And if the way is too long for you (so that you are not able to carry it, because the place is far from you where the LORD your God shall choose to set His Name, when the LORD your God shall bless you)

25 “then you shall make it in money and take the money in your hand and go to the place which the LORD your God shall choose.

26 “And you shall bestow the money for whatever your heart desires — whether it be ox or sheep or wine or strong drink or whatever your heart desires — and shall eat it there before the LORD your God and rejoice, you and your household.

27 “And you shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates. For he has neither part nor inheritance with you.

28 “At the end of three years, you shall bring forth all the tithes of your increase of the same year and lay it up within your gates.

29 “Then, the Levite shall come, because he has no part or inheritance with you or the stranger or the fatherless or the widow who are within your gates. And he shall eat, and be filled, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.”

Psalm 99-101

99 The LORD reigns! Let the people tremble. He sits between the Cherubims. Let the Earth be moved!

The LORD is great in Zion; and He is high above all the people.

They shall praise Your great and fearful Name (It is Holy).

Also, the King’s power loves judgment. You establish equity. You have executed judgment and justice in Jacob.

Exalt the LORD our God and bow down before His footstool. He is Holy.

Moses and Aaron were among His Priests, and Samuel among such as call upon His Name. These called upon the LORD and He heard them.

He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar. They kept His testimonies, the Law which He gave them.

You heard them, O LORD our God. You were a favorable God to them, though You took vengeance for their evil deeds.

Exalt the LORD our God and bow down before His Holy Mountain; for the LORD our God is Holy. A Psalm of praise

100 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the Earth!

Serve the LORD with gladness. Come before Him with joyfulness!

Know that the LORD is God. He has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with rejoicing. Give Him thanks. Praise Him; and bless His Name.

For the LORD is good. His mercy is everlasting; and His truth is from generation to generation. A Psalm of David

101 I will sing mercy and judgment. To You, O LORD, I will sing!

I will do wisely in the perfect way, till You come to me. I will walk in the uprightness of my heart in the midst of my house.

I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away. It shall not cling to me.

A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil.

He who secretly slanders his neighbor, I will destroy. He who has a proud look and high heart, I cannot allow.

My eyes shall be to the faithful of the land, so that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

No deceitful person shall dwell within my house. He who tells lies shall not remain in my sight.

Early will I destroy all the wicked of the land, so that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the City of the LORD. A prayer of the afflicted, when he shall be in distress and pour forth his meditation before the LORD

Isaiah 41

41 “Keep silent before me, O islands, and let the people renew strength. Let them come near. And let them speak. Let us come together into judgment.

“Who raised up justice from the East and called him to His Foot, gave the nations before him and subdued the kings? He gave them as dust to his sword, as scattered stubble to his bow.

“He pursued them and passed safely by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

“Who has wrought and done it? He Who calls the generations from the beginning. I, the LORD, am the first. And with the last I am the same.

“The isles saw it and feared. The ends of the Earth were afraid, drew near and came.

“Every man helped his neighbor, and said to his brother, ‘Be strong.’

“So the workman comforted the refiner (he who struck with the hammer, and who struck the anvil) saying, ‘It is ready for soldering.’ And he fastened it with nails, so that it would not be moved.

“But you, Israel, are My servant, you, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend.

“For I have taken you from the ends of the Earth and called you before its chief and said to you, ‘You are My servant. I have chosen you and not cast you away.

10 ‘Fear not. For I am with you. Do not be afraid. For I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, and will sustain you with the right hand of My justice.’

11 “Behold, all those who provoke you shall be ashamed and confounded. They shall be as nothing. And those who strive with you shall perish.

12 “You shall seek them and shall not find them. The men of your strife, they shall be as nothing, and the men who war against you as a non-existent thing.

13 “For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Do not fear. I will help you.

14 ‘Do not fear, worm Jacob, you men of Israel. I will help you,’ says the LORD, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15 “Behold, I will make you a thresher, and a new threshing sled having teeth. You shall thresh the mountains and bring them to powder, and shall make the hills as chaff.

16 “You shall fan them and the wind shall carry them away and the whirlwind shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the LORD, shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 “When the poor and the needy seek water and there is none (their tongue fails for thirst), I the LORD will hear them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

18 “I will open rivers on the tops of the hills, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness as a pool of water, and the wasteland as springs of water.

19 “I will set the cedar in the wilderness, the Shittah, and the myrtle tree, and the pine tree. I will set the fir tree in the wilderness, the elm and the box tree, together.

20 “Therefore, let them see and know. And let them consider and understand together that the Hand of the LORD has done this. And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21 “‘Stand to your cause,’ says the LORD, ‘Bring forth your strong reasons,’ says the King of Jacob.

22 “Let them bring them forth. And let them tell us what shall come. Let them show the former things, what they were, so that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them. Or declare to us things to come.

23 “Show the things that are to come hereafter, so that we may know that you are gods. Yea, do good or do evil, so that we may see it and look away together.

24 “Behold, you are of no value. And you are made nothing, having chosen an abomination by them.

25 “I have raised up from the North, and he shall come. From the East Sun shall he call upon My Name, and shall come upon princes as upon clay, and as the potter treads mire underfoot.

26 “Who has declared from the beginning, so that we may know, or before time, so that we may say, ‘He is righteous’? Surely there is no one who shows. Surely there is no one who declares. Surely there is no one who hears your words.

27 “I am the First, Who says to Zion, ‘Look! Look at them!’ And I will give to Jerusalem one who shall bring good tidings.

28 “But when I looked, there was no one. And when I inquired of them, there was no counselor. And when I demanded of them, they did not answer a word.

29 “Behold, they are all wickedness. Their work is nothing. Their images are wind and confusion.”

Revelation 11

11 Then was given to me a reed, like a rod. And the angel stood by, saying, “Rise and measure the Temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship therein.

“But do not include the court which is outside the Temple. For it is given to the Gentiles. And they shall tread upon the holy city for 42 months.

“But I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

These are two olive trees, and two candlesticks, standing before the God of the Earth.

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouths and devours their enemies. For if anyone would hurt them, thus must he be killed.

These have power to shut Heaven, so that it does not rain in the days of their prophesying; and have power over waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the Earth with all kinds of plagues, as often as they will.

And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them,

And their corpses shall lie in the streets of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt (where our Lord was also crucified).

And those of the people and tribes and tongues, and Gentiles, shall see their corpses for three and a half days, and shall not allow their carcasses to be put in graves.

10 And those who dwell upon the Earth shall rejoice over them and be glad and shall send gifts to one another. For these two Prophets tormented those who dwelt on the Earth.

11 But after three and a half days, the Spirit of Life, coming from God, shall enter into them. And they shall stand up upon their feet. And great fear shall come upon those who saw them.

12 And they shall hear a great voice from Heaven, saying to them, “Come up here!” And they shall ascend to Heaven in a cloud. And their enemies shall see them.

13 And the same hour there shall be a great earthquake. And a tenth of the city shall fall. And in the earthquake, seven thousand shall be slain. And the remnant was very afraid and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

14 The second woe is past! And behold, the third woe will come soon!

15 And the seventh angel blew the trumpet. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of the world are our Lord’s, and his Christ’s! And He shall reign for evermore!”

16 Then the 24 elders who sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshipped God.

17 Saying, “We give you thanks, Lord God Almighty; Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come! For You have received Your great might and have obtained Your Kingdom!

18 “And the Gentiles were angry. And Your wrath came, and the time of the dead; so that they would be judged, and that You would give reward to Your servants, the Prophets, and to Your saints, and to those who fear Your Name - both small and great - and to destroy those who destroy the Earth.”

19 Then the Temple of God was opened in Heaven. And there was seen in the temple the Ark of His Covenant. And there were lightnings and voices and thunderings and an earthquake, and much hail.
