M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan
15 Moreover, the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘Whoever has a discharge from his flesh is unclean because of his discharge.
3 ‘And this shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: either his flesh runs with his discharge or he has a blockage from his issue. This is his uncleanness.
4 ‘Every bed upon which he lies that has the issue shall be unclean. And everything upon which he sits shall be unclean.
5 ‘Also, whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
6 ‘And he who sits on anything upon which he sat who has the issue shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
7 ‘Also, he who touches the flesh of him who has the issue shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
8 ‘If he who has the issue also spits upon him who is clean, he shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
9 ‘And whatever saddle he rides upon that has the issue shall be unclean.
10 ‘And whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening. And he who bears those things shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
11 ‘Likewise, whomever he touches who has the issue (and has not washed his hands in water) shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
12 ‘And the vessel of earth that he touches, which has the issue, shall be broken. And every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
13 ‘But if he who has an issue is cleansed of his issue, then he shall count seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in pure water. So shall he be clean.
14 ‘Then on the eighth day, he shall take to him two turtledoves (or two young pigeons) and come before the LORD, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall give them to the Priest.
15 ‘And the Priest shall make a Sin Offering of one of them, and of the other a Burnt Offering. So, the Priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
16 ‘Also, if any man’s issue of seed departs from him, he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.
17 ‘And every garment, and every skin whereupon issue of seed shall be, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.
18 ‘If he who has an issue of seed lies with a woman, they shall both wash themselves with water, and be unclean until the evening.
19 ‘Also, when a woman shall have a discharge, and her issue in her flesh shall be blood, she shall be isolated for seven days. And whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.
20 ‘And whatever she lies upon in her impurity shall be unclean. And everything that she sits upon shall be unclean.
21 ‘Also, whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and wash himself with water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
22 ‘And whoever touches anything that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the evening,
23 ‘so that whether he touches her bed or anything upon which she sat, he shall be unclean until the evening.
24 ‘And if a man lies with her, and her impurity touches him, he shall be unclean for seven days. And all the whole bed upon which he lies shall be unclean.
25 ‘Also, when a woman’s discharge of blood runs for a long time in addition to the time of her impurity (that is, when she has a discharge longer than her impurity), all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness she shall be unclean, as in the time of her impurity.
26 ‘Every bed upon which she lies (as long as her discharge lasts) shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And whatever she sits upon shall be unclean, as her uncleanness when she is isolated.
27 ‘And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
28 ‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count seven days. And afterward, she shall be clean.
29 ‘And on the eighth day, she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the Priest at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
30 ‘And the Priest shall make a Sin Offering of the one, and of the other a Burnt Offering. And the Priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD, for the issue of her uncleanness.
31 ‘Thus shall you separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness if they defile My Tabernacle that is among them.
32 ‘This is the Law of him who has a discharge, and of him from whom goes a discharge of seed by which he is defiled,
33 ‘and of she who is ill from her impurity, and of he who has a running discharge, whether it be man or woman, and of he who lies with her who is unclean.’”
18 I will love You dearly, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress; and He Who delivers me, my God and my strength. In Him will I trust. My shield. The horn, also, of my salvation. My refuge.
3 I will call upon the LORD, Who is worthy to be praised. So shall I be safe from my enemies.
4 The sorrows of death surrounded me. And the floods of wickedness made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of the grave have surrounded me. The snares of death overtook me.
6 But in my trouble, I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of His Temple. And my cry came before Him, into His ears.
7 Then the Earth trembled and quaked. The foundations of the mountains also moved and shook because He was angry.
8 Smoke went out at His nostrils; and a consuming fire out of His mouth, at which coals were kindled.
9 He also bowed the heavens and came down, and darkness was under His feet.
10 And He rode upon a cherub and flew. And He came flying upon the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness His secret place, his pavilion all around Him; darkness of waters and clouds of the air.
12 At the brightness of His presence, His clouds passed; hailstones and coals of fire.
13 The LORD also thundered in the heaven, and the Highest gave His voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
14 Then He sent out His arrows and scattered them. And He increased lightnings and destroyed them.
15 And the channels of waters were seen. And the foundations of the world were discovered at Your rebuking, O LORD; at the blasting of the breath of Your nostrils.
16 He has sent down from above and taken me. He has drawn me out of many waters.
17 He has delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hate me. For they were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me on the day of my calamity. But the LORD was my stay.
19 He also brought me forth into a large place. He delivered me because He favored me.
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the pureness of my hand, He recompensed me,
21 because I kept the ways of the LORD and did not do wickedly against my God.
22 For all His laws were before me. And I did not cast away His Commandments from me.
23 I was also upright with him and have kept myself from my wickedness.
24 Therefore, the LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the pureness of my hands in His sight.
25 With the godly, You will show Yourself godly. With the upright man, You will show Yourself upright.
26 With the pure, You will show Yourself pure. And with the froward, You will show Yourself froward.
27 Thus, You will save the poor people, and will cast down proud looks.
28 Surely, You will light my candle. The LORD, my God, will lighten my darkness.
29 For You I have broken through an army. And by my God I have leapt over a wall.
30 The way of God is incorrupt. The Word of the LORD is tried in the fire. He is a shield to those who trust in Him.
31 For who is God besides the LORD? And who is mighty except our God?
32 God girds me with strength and makes my way upright.
33 He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and sets me upon my high places.
34 He teaches my hands to fight, so that a bow of brass is broken with my arms.
35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation. And Your right hand has upheld me. And Your lovingkindness has caused me to increase.
36 You have enlarged my steps under me, and my heels have not slid.
37 I have pursued my enemies, and taken them, and have not turned again until I had vanquished them.
38 I have wounded them, so that they were not able to rise. They have fallen under my feet.
39 For You have girded me with strength for battle. Those who rose against me, You have subdued under me.
40 And You have given me the necks of my enemies, so that I might destroy those who hate me.
41 They cried, but there was no one to save them; and to the LORD, but He did not answer them.
42 Then I beat them fine as the dust before the wind. I tread them flat as the clay in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the contentions of the people. You have made me the head of the heathen. A people I have not known shall serve me.
44 As soon as they hear, they shall obey me. The strangers shall be in subjection to me.
45 Strangers shall shrink away, and fear in their borders.
46 Let the LORD live and blessed be my strength. And the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 It is God Who avenges me and subdues the people under me.
48 O, my Deliverer from my enemies, You have lifted me up from those who rose against me! You have delivered me from the cruel man.
49 Therefore, I will praise You among the nations, O LORD, and will sing to Your Name.
50 He gives great deliverances to His king and shows mercy to His anointed; to David, and to his seed, forever. To him who excels: A Psalm of David.
29 A man who hardens his neck when he is rebuked shall suddenly be destroyed, and cannot be cured.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked rule, the people sigh.
3 A man who loves wisdom rejoices his father. But he who associates with harlots wastes his substance.
4 By judgment, a king maintains the country. But a man who receives gifts destroys it.
5 A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.
6 An evil man is ensnared by his transgression. But the righteous sings and rejoices.
7 The righteous know the cause of the poor. The wicked do not discern knowledge.
8 Scoffers ensnare a city. But wise men turn away wrath.
9 If a wise man contends with a foolish man, whether he is angry or laughing, there is no rest.
10 Bloody men hate the upright. But the just seek out his soul.
11 A fool pours out his whole mind. But a wise man holds it back.
12 If a prince listens to lies, all his servants are wicked.
13 The poor and the oppressor share this: The LORD lights both their eyes.
14 A king who judges the poor in truth, his throne shall be established forever.
15 The rod and correction give wisdom. But a child left to himself makes his mother ashamed.
16 When the wicked are increased, transgression increases. But the righteous shall see their fall.
17 Correct your son and he will give you rest; and will give pleasures to your soul.
18 Where there is no Revelation, the people cast off restraint. But he who keeps the Law is blessed.
19 A servant will not be chastised with words. Though he understands, he will still not answer.
20 Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
21 He who pampers his servant from youth, will have him for a son in the end.
22 An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression.
23 The pride of a man shall bring him low. But the humble in spirit shall enjoy glory.
24 He who is partner with a thief hates his own soul. He hears cursing and does not declare it.
25 The fear of man brings a snare. But he who trusts in the LORD shall be exalted.
26 Many seek the face of the ruler. But every man’s judgment comes from the LORD.
27 A wicked man is abomination to the just. And he who is upright in his way is abomination to the wicked. THE WORDS OF AGUR, THE SON OF JAKEH.
3 Furthermore, brothers, pray for us; so that the Word of the Lord may have free passage and be glorified (just as with you)
2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men. For all do not have faith.
3 But the Lord, Who will establish you and keep you from evil, is faithful.
4 And we are persuaded by you through the Lord that you both do and will do the things of which we warn you.
5 And the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the awaiting of Christ.
6 We charge you, brothers, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks inordinately and not according to the instruction he received from us.
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us. For we did not behave inordinately among you.
8 Nor did we take food from anyone for nothing. But we worked with labor and travail night and day because we did not wish to be a burden to any of you.
9 Not because we do not have authority, but so that we might make ourselves an example for you to follow.
10 For even when we were with you, we warned you of this; that if there were any who would not work, he should not eat.
11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you inordinately and do not work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Therefore, such as those we warn and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own food.
13 And you, brothers, do not be weary in well-doing.
14 If anyone does not obey this our word in this letter, note him and do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.
15 Yet, do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 Now, may the Lord - Himself of peace - give you peace always, by all means. The Lord be with you all.
17 The salutation of me, Paul, with my own hand (which is the sign in every letter) so I write.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The second Epistle to the Thessalonians, written from Athens.
