M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan
5 “Also, if anyone has sinned—if he has heard the voice of an oath—and he can witness to it (whether he has seen or known of it) and does not do so, he shall be guilty.
2 “Or if anyone touches any unclean thing—whether it is a carcass of an unclean beast or a carcass of unclean cattle or a carcass of unclean creeping things—and is not aware of it, he is still unclean and has offended.
3 “Or if he touches any uncleanness of man (whatever uncleanness defiles him) and is not aware of it, and afterward comes to the knowledge of it, he has sinned.
4 “Or if anyone swears and pronounces with his lips to do evil or to do good (whichever it is that a man shall pronounce with an oath) —and it is hidden from him and then afterward he knows that he has offended in one of these points—
5 “when he has sinned in any of these things, he shall confess that he has sinned in it.
6 “Therefore, he shall bring his Trespass Offering to the LORD for his sin which he has committed — a female from the flock, a lamb or a female goat for a Sin Offering — and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
7 “But if he is not able to bring a sheep, he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the LORD (one for a Sin Offering and the other for a Burnt Offering) for his trespass which he has committed.
8 “So he shall bring them to the Priest, who shall offer the Sin Offering first, and wring the neck of it asunder, but not take it clean off.
9 “Afterward, he shall sprinkle from the blood of the Sin Offering upon the side of the Altar. And the rest of the blood shall be shed at the foot of the Altar. It is a Sin Offering.
10 “Also, he shall offer the second for a Burnt Offering, as is just. So shall the Priest make an atonement for him (for his sin which he has committed) and it shall be forgiven him.
11 “But if he is not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he who has sinned shall bring for his offering a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, for a Sin Offering. He shall put no oil on it, nor put any incense on it, for it is a Sin Offering.
12 “Then he shall bring it to the Priest. And the Priest shall take a handful of it, for its remembrance, and burn it upon the Altar with the offerings of the LORD, made by fire. It is a Sin Offering.
13 “So the Priest shall make an atonement for him, as touching his sin that he has committed in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him. And the remainder shall be the Priest’s, as the Meat Offering.”
14 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
15 “If any person transgresses and sins through ignorance by taking away things consecrated to the LORD, he shall then bring for his Trespass Offering to the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flock —worth two shekels of silver by your estimation, after the shekel of the Sanctuary—for a Trespass Offering.
16 “So he shall restore that in which he has offended regarding the holy thing and shall add a fifth more to it and give it to the Priest. So, the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the Trespass Offering. And it shall be forgiven him.
17 “Also, if anyone sins and does any of the Commandments of the LORD which ought not to be done, and yet does not know it, he still sins and bears his iniquity.
18 “Then he shall bring a ram, without blemish, out of the flock (worth two shekels in your estimation), for a Trespass Offering to the Priest. And the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance in which he erred and was not aware. So it shall be forgiven him.
19 “This is the Trespass Offering for the trespass committed against the LORD.”
3 LORD, how my adversaries are increased? How many rise against me?
2 Many say to my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah.
3 But You, LORD, are a buckler for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
4 I called to the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His Holy Mountain. Selah.
5 I laid down and slept; and rose up again. For the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who should beset me all around.
7 O LORD, arise! Help me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies upon the cheekbone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
8 Salvation belongs to the LORD. And Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah. To him who excels on Neginoth: A Psalm of David.
4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness. You have set me at liberty when I was in distress. Have mercy upon me and hear my prayer.
2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame, loving vanity and seeking lies? Selah.
3 But know that the LORD has chosen for Himself a godly man. The LORD will hear when I call to Him.
4 Tremble and do not sin. Examine your own heart upon your bed and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in the LORD.
6 Many say, “Who will show us good?” LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.
7 You have given me more joy of heart than when their wheat and their wine abounded.
8 I will lay down, and also sleep, in peace. For You only, LORD, make me dwell in safety. To him who excels upon Nehiloth: A Psalm of David.
20 Wine is a mocker and strong drink rages. And whoever is deceived by them, is not wise.
2 The fear of the king is like the roaring of a lion. He who provokes him to anger sins against his own soul.
3 It is a man’s honor to cease from strife. But every fool will quarrel.
4 The slothful will not plow, because of winter. Therefore, he shall beg in summer but have nothing.
5 The counsel in the heart of man is like deep waters. But a man who has understanding will draw it out.
6 Many men will boast to every one of his own goodness. But who can find a faithful man?
7 He who walks in his integrity is just; and blessed shall his children be after him.
8 A king who sits on the throne of judgment chases away all evil with his eyes.
9 Who can say, “I have made my heart clean. I am clean from my sin”?
10 Diverse weights and diverse measures; both these alike are abomination to the LORD.
11 A child is also known by his doings, whether his word is pure and right.
12 The LORD has made both of these: the ear to hear and the eye to see.
13 Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty. Open your eyes and you shall be satisfied with bread.
14 “Bad, bad,” says the buyer. But when he has gone away, he boasts.
15 There is gold, and a multitude of precious stones. But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
16 Take the garment of him who is surety for a stranger; and a pledge from him for a foreigner.
17 The bread of deceit is sweet to a man. But afterward, his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
18 Establish your thoughts by counsel; and by counsel make war.
19 He who goes about as a slanderer, discovers secrets. Therefore, do not associate with him who flatters with his lips.
20 He who curses his father or his mother, his light shall be put out in obscure darkness.
21 An inheritance hastily gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.
22 Do not say, “I will repay evil.” Wait upon the LORD, and He shall save you.
23 Diverse weights are an abomination to the LORD; and deceitful balances are not good.
24 The steps of man are ruled by the LORD. How, then, can a man understand his own way?
25 It is a snare for a man to rashly declare holiness, and afterward to make inquiry.
26 A wise king scatters the wicked and causes the wheel to turn over them.
27 The light of the LORD is the spirit of man and searches all parts of his core.
28 Mercy and truth preserve the king. For his throne shall be established with mercy.
29 The beauty of young men is their strength. And the glory of the aged is the gray head.
30 As bruises scour away evil, so do blows to the core of the body.
3 If you, then, are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things which are above, not on things which are on the Earth.
3 For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ (Who is your life) is revealed, then you shall also be revealed with Him in Glory.
5 Therefore, mortify those parts of your body which are of the Earth: fornication, impurity, depraved passions, lust, and covetousness (which is idolatry),
6 for the sake of which things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience;
7 and wherein also you once walked when you lived in them.
8 But now, however, take all these things out of your mouth also: anger, wrath, malice, slander, foul language.
9 Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds
10 and having put on the new (who is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him who created him).
11 There is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but all, and in all, is Christ.
12 Now, therefore, as the Elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,
13 bearing with one another and forgiving one another. If anyone has a quarrel with another, even as Christ forgave, so do you.
14 And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of complete unity.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body. And be thankful.
16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with a grace in your hearts to God.
17 And whatever you shall do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as it is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be embittered toward them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for that is well-pleasing to the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 Servants, in all things, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service as man-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.
23 And whatever you do, work from your soul, as to the Lord, and not to man,
24 knowing that you shall receive the reward of the inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.
25 But the one who does wrong shall be repaid for the wrong that he has done. And there is no respect of persons.
