Revelation 19-22

19 And after these things, I heard a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and power be to the Lord our God!

“For true and righteous are His judgments! For He has condemned the great whore who corrupted the Earth with her fornication; and has avenged the blood of His servants, shed by her hand!”

And again they said, “Hallelujah! And her smoke rises up for evermore!”

And the 24 elders, and the four beasts, fell down and worshipped God Who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”

Then a voice came out of the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all his servants; and you who fear Him, both small and great!”

And I heard a voice like that of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of strong thunderings, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has reigned!

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give glory to Him! For the marriage of the Lamb has come! And his wife has made herself ready!

“And to her it was granted that she should be arrayed with pure fine linen and shining!” For fine linen is the righteousness of saints!”

Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the Lamb’s supper.’” And he said to me, “These words of God are true.”

10 And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and one of your brothers, who has the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.”

11 And I saw Heaven open. And behold, a white horse. And He who sat upon him was called faithful and true. And He judges and fights righteously.

12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire. And on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written, that no one knew but Himself.

13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood. And His name is called, ‘The Word of God’.

14 And the armies who were in Heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed with fine linen, white and pure.

15 And out of His mouth went a sharp sword; so that with it, He would strike the heathen. For He shall rule them with a rod of iron. For it is He who treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And He has upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, ‘The King of Kings and Lord of Lords’.

17 And I saw an angel stand in the Sun, who cried with a loud voice, saying, “To all the birds that flew by the midst of Heaven: Come! And gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God;

18 “so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of high captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all freemen, and bondmen, and of small and great.”

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the Earth, and their hosts, gathered together to make battle against Him who sat on the horse; and against His army.

20 But the beast was taken, and with him that false prophet who wrought miracles before him (whereby he deceived those who received the beast’s mark and those who worshipped his image). These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant was slain with the sword of Him who sits upon the horse (which comes out of His mouth). And all the birds were filled full with their flesh.

20 And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

And he took the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan. And he bound him for a thousand years;

and cast him into the bottomless pit. And he shut him up and sealed the door upon him - so that he would deceive the people no more - till the thousand years were completed. For after that, he must be let loose for a little season.

And I saw thrones. And they sat upon them. And judgment was given them. And I saw the souls of those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and who did not worship the beast or his image. Nor had they taken his mark upon their foreheads, nor on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead shall not live again until the thousand years are finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he who takes part in the first resurrection. For over such, the second death has no power. But they shall be the priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And when the thousand years are over, Satan shall be let loose from his prison,

and shall go out to deceive the people who are in the four quarters of the Earth - even Gog and Magog - to gather them together to battle whose number is as the sand of the sea.

And they marched across the breadth of the Earth. And they surrounded the tents of the saints, and the beloved city. But fire came down from God, out of Heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone - where the beast and the false prophet are - and shall be tormented, day and night, for evermore.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and One who sat on it; from Whose face fled away both the Earth and Heaven, and their place was found no more.

12 And I saw the dead, both great and small, stand before God. And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged for those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in her. And death and Hell delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one of them, according to their works.

14 And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.

15 And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life, was cast into the Lake of Fire.

21 And I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth. For the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away. And there was no more sea.

And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, come down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, “Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with man! And He will dwell with them! And they shall be His people! And God Himself shall be their God with them!

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes! And there shall be no more death or sorrow or crying. Nor shall there be any more pain. For the first things are passed!”

And He who sat upon the throne, said, “Behold, I make all things new!” And He said to me, “Write. For these things are faithful and true.”

And He said to me, “It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give freely from the well of the water of life to him who is thirsty.

“He who overcomes, shall inherit all things. And I will be his God. And he shall be My Son.

“But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall take their place in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

And there came to me one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, “Come. I will show you the Bride, the Lamb’s wife.”

10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain. And he showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God,

11 having the Glory of God. And she shined like a most precious stone—as a jasper stone, clear as crystal—

12 and had a great high wall with twelve gates. And at the gates were twelve angels. And the names written on them were the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

13 On the east part, there were three gates; and on the north side, three gates; on the south side three gates; and on the west side, three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations; and in them, the names of the Lamb’s twelve Apostles.

15 And he who walked with me had a golden reed, with which to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lays square. And the length is as large as the breadth of it. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. And the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof: 144 cubits, by the measure of man (that is, of the angel).

18 And the structure of the wall was of jasper. And the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was of jasper; the second, Sapphire; the third, of Chalcedony; the fourth of an Emerald;

20 the fifth, of a Sardonyx; the sixth, of a Sardius; the seventh, of a Chrysolite; the eighth, of a Beryl; the ninth, of a Topaz; the tenth, of a Chrysoprase; the eleventh, of a Jacinth; the twelfth, an Amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls. And every gate is made of one pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, as shining glass.

22 And I saw no Temple therein. For the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it.

23 And their city has no need of the Sun, nor of the Moon, to shine in it. For the Glory of God lit it. And the Lamb is the Light of it.

24 And the people who are saved shall walk in the light of it. And the kings of the Earth shall bring their glory and honor to it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut by day. For there shall be no night there.

26 And the glory and honor of the Gentiles shall be brought into it.

27 And there shall enter into it no unclean thing, nor whatever works abomination or lies; but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life - clear as crystal - proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb.

In the midst of the street of it - and on either side of the river - was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve kinds of fruits and gave fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree served to heal the nations.

And there shall no longer be any curse. But the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

And they shall see His face. And His Name shall be on their foreheads.

And there shall be no night there. And they need no lamp, nor light of the Sun. For the Lord God gives them Light. And they shall reign forevermore.

And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy Prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly be fulfilled.

“Behold, I come shortly. Blessed is he who keeps the Words of the Prophecy of this Book.”

And I am John, who saw and heard these things. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

But he said to me, “See that you do not do it. For I am your fellow servant; and of your brothers, the Prophets; and of those who keep the Words of this Book. Worship God.”

10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book. For the time is at hand.

11 “He who is unjust, let him still be unjust. And he who is filthy, let him still be filthy. And he who is righteous, let him still be righteous. And he who is holy, let him still be holy.

12 “And behold, I come shortly. And My reward is with Me: to give to every man according as his work shall be.

13 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 “Blessed are those who do His Commandments; in that the Tree of Life may be their right and they may enter in through the gates, into the City.

15 “For outside shall be dogs and enchanters and whoremongers and murderers and idolaters and whoever loves or makes lies.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the generation of David, and the Bright Morning Star.

17 “And the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let him who is thirsty, come. And let whoever will, partake of the Water of Life freely.

18 “For I testify to everyone who hears the Words of the Prophecy of this Book. If anyone shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this Book.

19 And if anyone shall take away from the Words of the Book of this Prophecy, God shall take out his part of the Book of Life, and of the holy City, and from those things which are written in this Book.”

20 He who testifies these things, says, “Surely I come quickly. Amen.” Even so, come Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
