Psalm 25

25 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.

My God, I trust in You. Let me not be confounded. Do not let my enemies rejoice over me.

So all who hope in You shall not be ashamed. Let those who transgress without cause be confounded.

Show me Your ways, O LORD, and teach me Your paths.

Lead me forth in Your truth and teach me. For You are the God of my salvation. In You do I trust, all the day.

Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies, and Your lovingkindness. For they have been forever.

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my rebellions. But according to Your kindness remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Gracious and righteous are the LORD. Therefore, He will teach sinners in the way.

Those who are meek, He will guide in judgment and teach the humble His way.

10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

11 For Your Name’s sake, O LORD, be merciful to my iniquity. For it is great.

12 What man is he who fears the LORD? He will teach him the way he shall choose.

13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the land.

14 The secret of the LORD is revealed to those who fear Him, and His Covenant, to give them understanding.

15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD. For He will bring my feet out of the net.

16 Turn Your face to me; and have mercy upon me. For I am desolate and poor.

17 The sorrows of my heart are enlarged. Draw me out of my troubles.

18 Look upon my affliction, and my travail, and forgive all my sins.

19 Behold my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 Keep my soul and deliver me. Let me not be confounded; for I trust in You.

21 Let my uprightness and equity preserve me; for my hope is in You.

22 Deliver Israel, O God, out of all its troubles. A Psalm of David.

Psalm 29

29 Give to the LORD, you sons of the Mighty. Give to the LORD glory and strength.

Give to the LORD glory due His Name. Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters. The God of Glory makes it thunder. The LORD is upon the great waters.

The voice of the LORD is mighty. The voice of the LORD is glorious.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Indeed, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

He also makes them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Shirion like a young unicorn.

The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the LORD makes the wilderness tremble. The LORD makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.

The voice of the LORD makes the hinds calve and discovers the forests. In His Temple, every man speaks of His Glory.

10 The LORD sits upon the floods; and the LORD remains King forever.

11 The LORD shall give strength to His people. The LORD shall bless His people with peace. A Psalm or song of the dedication of the House of David.

Psalm 33

33 Rejoice in the LORD, O righteous! It becomes upright men to be thankful.

Praise the LORD with harp! Sing to Him with viol and instrument of ten strings!

Sing to Him a new song! Sing cheerfully with a loud voice!

For the Word of the LORD is righteous; and all His works are faithful.

He loves righteousness and judgment. The Earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

By the Word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

He gathers the waters of the sea together, as upon a heap, and lays up the depths in His treasures.

Let all the Earth fear the LORD. Let all those who dwell in the world, fear Him.

For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood.

10 The LORD breaks the counsel of the heathen and brings the devices of the people to nothing.

11 The counsel of the LORD shall stand forever, and the thoughts of His heart throughout all ages.

12 Blessed is that nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen for His inheritance.

13 The LORD looks down from Heaven, beholding all the children of men.

14 From the habitation of His dwelling he beholds all those who dwell on the Earth.

15 He fashions their hearts, every one, understanding all their works.

16 The king is not saved by the multitude of an army; nor is the mighty man delivered by great strength.

17 A horse is a vain help and shall not deliver by his great strength.

18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon those who fear Him, upon those who trust in His mercy

19 to deliver their souls from death and to preserve them in famine.

20 Our soul waits for the LORD. He is our Help and our Shield.

21 Surely, our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we trusted in His Holy Name.

22 Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us. As we trusted in You. A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away and he departed.

Psalm 36

36 Wickedness says to the wicked man, even in my heart, that there is no fear of God before His eyes.

For he flatters himself in his own eyes, while his iniquity is found worthy to be hated.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to understand and to do good.

He imagines mischief upon his bed. He sets himself upon a way that is not good and does not abhor evil.

Your mercy, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains. Your judgments are like a great deep. You, LORD, save man and beast.

How excellent is Your mercy, O God! Therefore, the children of men trust under the shadow of Your wings.

They shall be satisfied with the fatness of Your House; and You shall give them drink out of the river of Your pleasures.

For with You is the well of life; and in Your Light shall we see light.

10 Extend Your lovingkindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to those who are upright in heart.

11 Do not let the foot of pride come against me; and do not let the hand of the wicked men move me.

12 There those who work iniquity have fallen. They are cast down and shall not be able to rise. A Psalm of David.

Psalm 39

39 I thought, “I will guard my ways, so that I do not sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth bridled while the wicked are in my sight.

I was dumb and spoke nothing. I kept silent, even from good; and my sorrow was more stirred.

My heart was hot within me. While I was musing, the fire kindled and I spoke with my tongue:

“LORD, let me know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is. Let me know how long I have to live.”

Behold, You have made my days as a handbreadth and my age as nothing in Your sight. Surely, every man is altogether vanity in his best state. Selah.

Doubtless, man walks in a shadow, and disquiets himself pointlessly. He heaps up riches and cannot tell who shall gather them.

And now LORD, for what do I wait? My hope is even in You.

Deliver me from all my transgressions, and do not make me a rebuke to the foolish.

I should have been dumb, and not have opened my mouth, because You did it.

10 Take Your plague away from me; for I am consumed by the stroke of Your hand.

11 When, with rebukes, You chastise man for iniquity, You make his beauty melt away as a moth. Surely, every man is vanity. Selah.

12 Hear my prayer, O LORD; and hear my cry. Do not keep silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You and a sojourner, as all my fathers.

13 Keep Your anger from me, so that I may recover my strength before I go away and am no more. To him who excels: A Psalm of David.
