To Yahweh’s Name Give Glory
115 (A)Not to us, O Yahweh, not to us,
But (B)to Your name give glory
Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your [a]truth.
2 (C)Why should the nations say,
“(D)Where, now, is their God?”
3 But our (E)God is in the heavens;
He (F)does whatever He pleases.
4 Their (G)idols are silver and gold,
The (H)work of man’s hands.
5 They have mouths, but they (I)do not speak;
They have eyes, but they do not see;
6 They have ears, but they do not hear;
They have noses, but they do not smell;
7 As for their hands, they do not feel;
As for their feet, they do not walk;
They do not make a sound with their throat.
8 (J)Those who make them [b]will become like them,
Everyone who trusts in them.
9 O (K)Israel, (L)trust in Yahweh;
He is their (M)help and their shield.
10 O house of (N)Aaron, trust in Yahweh;
He is their help and their shield.
11 You who [c](O)fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh;
He is their help and their shield.
12 Yahweh (P)remembered us; He will bless!
He will bless the house of Israel.
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will (Q)bless those who [d]fear Yahweh,
(R)The small together with the great.
14 May Yahweh (S)give you increase,
You and your children.
15 May you be blessed of Yahweh,
(T)Who made heaven and earth.
16 The heavens are (U)the heavens of Yahweh,
But (V)the earth He has given to the sons of men.
17 It is not the (W)dead that praise Yah,
And it is none of those who go down to (X)silence;
18 But as for us, we will (Y)bless Yah
From now until forever.

I Love Yahweh
116 (Z)I love Yahweh, because He (AA)hears
My voice and my supplications.
2 Because He has (AB)inclined His ear to me,
So I shall call upon Him in all my days.
3 The (AC)cords of death encompassed me
And the [f]distresses of Sheol found me;
I found distress and sorrow.
4 Then (AD)I called upon the name of Yahweh:
“O Yahweh, I beseech You, [g](AE)provide my soul escape!”
5 (AF)Gracious is Yahweh, and (AG)righteous;
And our God is (AH)compassionate.
6 Yahweh keeps (AI)the simple;
I was (AJ)brought low, and He saved me.
7 Return to your (AK)rest, O my soul,
For Yahweh has (AL)dealt bountifully with you.
8 For You have (AM)rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
9 I shall walk before Yahweh
In the [h](AN)land of the living.
10 I (AO)believed when I said,
“I am (AP)greatly afflicted.”
11 I (AQ)said in my alarm,
“(AR)All men are liars.”
12 What shall I (AS)give to Yahweh in return
For all His (AT)bountiful dealings [i]with me?
13 I shall lift up the (AU)cup of [j]salvation
And (AV)call upon the name of Yahweh.
14 I shall (AW)pay my vows to Yahweh,
Oh may it be (AX)in the presence of all His people.
15 (AY)Precious in the sight of Yahweh
Is the death of His holy ones.
16 O Yahweh, [k]surely I am (AZ)Your slave,
I am Your slave, the (BA)son of Your maidservant,
You have (BB)loosed my bonds.
17 To You I shall offer (BC)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And (BD)call upon the name of Yahweh.
18 I shall (BE)pay my vows to Yahweh,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
19 In the (BF)courts of the house of Yahweh,
In the midst of you, O (BG)Jerusalem.
[l]Praise Yah!
Yahweh’s Lovingkindness Prevails
117 (BH)Praise Yahweh, all nations;
Laud Him, all peoples!
2 For His (BI)lovingkindness prevails over us,
And the [m](BJ)truth of Yahweh is everlasting.
[n]Praise Yah!
Yahweh’s Lovingkindness Endures Forever
118 (BK)Give thanks to Yahweh, for (BL)He is good;
For His lovingkindness endures forever.
2 Oh let (BM)Israel say,
“His lovingkindness endures forever.”
3 Oh let the (BN)house of Aaron say,
“His lovingkindness endures forever.”
4 Oh let those (BO)who [o]fear Yahweh say,
“His lovingkindness endures forever.”
5 From my (BP)distress I called upon Yah;
Yah answered me and (BQ)set me in a large place.
6 Yahweh is (BR)for me; I will (BS)not fear;
(BT)What can man do to me?
7 Yahweh is for me (BU)among those who help me;
Therefore I will (BV)look in triumph on those who hate me.
8 It is (BW)better to take refuge in Yahweh
Than to trust in man.
9 It is (BX)better to take refuge in Yahweh
Than to trust in nobles.
10 All nations (BY)surrounded me;
In the name of Yahweh I will surely (BZ)cut them off.
11 They (CA)surrounded me, indeed, they surrounded me;
In the name of Yahweh I will surely cut them off.
12 They surrounded me (CB)like bees;
They were extinguished as a (CC)fire of thorns;
In the name of Yahweh I will surely cut them off.
13 You (CD)pushed me down violently to make me fall,
But Yahweh (CE)helped me.
14 (CF)Yah is my strength and song,
And He has become (CG)my salvation.
15 The sound of (CH)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;
The (CI)right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
16 The (CJ)right hand of Yahweh is exalted;
The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
17 I (CK)will not die; indeed I will live,
And (CL)recount the works of Yah.
18 Yah has (CM)disciplined me severely,
But He has (CN)not given me over to death.
19 (CO)Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to Yah.
20 This is the gate of Yahweh;
The (CP)righteous will enter through it.
21 I shall give thanks to You, for You have (CQ)answered me,
And You have (CR)become my salvation.
22 The (CS)stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief corner stone.
23 This is from Yahweh;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which Yahweh has made;
Let us (CT)rejoice and be glad in it.
25 O Yahweh, (CU)save!
O Yahweh, (CV)succeed!
26 (CW)Blessed is the one who comes in the name of Yahweh;
We have (CX)blessed you from the house of Yahweh.
27 (CY)Yahweh is God, and He has given us (CZ)light;
Bind the festival sacrifice with cords [p]to the (DA)horns of the altar.
28 (DB)You are my God, and I give thanks to You;
You are my God, (DC)I exalt You.
29 (DD)Give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good;
For His lovingkindness endures forever.
