Prayer for Victory over Enemies.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
20 May the Lord answer you (A)in the day of trouble!
May the (B)name of the (C)God of Jacob set you securely on high!
2 May He send you help (D)from the sanctuary
And (E)support you from Zion!
3 May He (F)remember all your meal offerings
And (G)find your burnt offering [a]acceptable! [b]Selah.
4 May He grant you your (H)heart’s desire
And (I)fulfill all your [c]counsel!
5 [d]We will (J)sing for joy over your [e]victory,
And in the name of our God we will (K)set up our banners.
May the Lord (L)fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now (M)I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will (N)answer him from His holy heaven
With the [f](O)saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some [g]boast in chariots and some in (P)horses,
But (Q)we [h]will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.
8 They have (R)bowed down and fallen,
But we have (S)risen and stood upright.
9 [i](T)Save, O Lord;
May the (U)King answer us in the day we call.

21 O Lord, in Your strength the king will (V)be glad,
And in Your [j]salvation how greatly he will rejoice!
2 You have (W)given him his heart’s desire,
And You have not withheld the request of his lips. [k]Selah.
3 For You (X)meet him with the blessings of good things;
You set a (Y)crown of fine gold on his head.
4 He asked life of You,
You (Z)gave it to him,
(AA)Length of days forever and ever.
5 His (AB)glory is great through Your [l]salvation,
(AC)Splendor and majesty You place upon him.
6 For You make him [m]most (AD)blessed forever;
You make him joyful (AE)with gladness in Your presence.
7 For the king (AF)trusts in the Lord,
And through the lovingkindness of the Most High (AG)he will not be shaken.
8 Your hand will (AH)find out all your enemies;
Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9 You will make them (AI)as a fiery oven in the time [n]of your anger;
The Lord will (AJ)swallow them up in His wrath,
And (AK)fire will devour them.
10 Their [o]offspring You will destroy from the earth,
And their [p](AL)descendants from among the sons of men.
11 Though they [q](AM)intended evil against You
And (AN)devised a plot,
They will not succeed.
12 For You will (AO)make them turn their back;
You will [r]aim (AP)with Your bowstrings at their faces.
13 Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength;
We will (AQ)sing and praise Your power.
The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

110 (A)The Lord says to my Lord:
“(B)Sit at My right hand
Until I make (C)Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2 The Lord will stretch forth Your strong (D)scepter from Zion, saying,
“(E)Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
3 Your (F)people [a]will volunteer freely in the day of Your [b]power;
(G)In [c]holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
[d]Your youth are to You as the (H)dew.
4 (I)The Lord has sworn and will (J)not [e]change His mind,
“You are a (K)priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is (L)at Your right hand;
He [f]will (M)shatter kings in the (N)day of His wrath.
6 He will (O)judge among the nations,
He [g]will fill them with (P)corpses,
He [h]will (Q)shatter the [i]chief men over a broad country.
7 He will (R)drink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will (S)lift up His head.
Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death.
116 (A)I love the Lord, because He (B)hears
My voice and my supplications.
2 Because He has (C)inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
3 The (D)cords of death encompassed me
And the [a]terrors of [b]Sheol [c]came upon me;
I found distress and sorrow.
4 Then (E)I called upon the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I beseech You, [d](F)save my life!”
5 (G)Gracious is the Lord, and (H)righteous;
Yes, our God is (I)compassionate.
6 The Lord preserves (J)the simple;
I was (K)brought low, and He saved me.
7 Return to your (L)rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has (M)dealt bountifully with you.
8 For You have (N)rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
9 I shall walk before the Lord
In the [e](O)land of the living.

“I am (Q)greatly afflicted.”
11 I (R)said in my alarm,
“(S)All men are liars.”
12 What shall I (T)render to the Lord
For all His (U)benefits [f]toward me?
13 I shall lift up the (V)cup of salvation
And (W)call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I shall (X)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be (Y)in the presence of all His people.
15 (Z)Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His godly ones.
16 O Lord, [g]surely I am (AA)Your servant,
I am Your servant, the (AB)son of Your handmaid,
You have (AC)loosed my bonds.
17 To You I shall offer (AD)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And (AE)call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I shall (AF)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
19 In the (AG)courts of the Lord’s house,

A Psalm of Praise.
9 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a (A)righteous man, [a](B)blameless in his [b]time; Noah (C)walked with God. 10 Noah [c]became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 Now the earth was (D)corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was (E)filled with violence. 12 God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for (F)all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
13 Then God said to Noah, “(G)The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. 14 Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall [d]cover it inside and out with pitch. 15 This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark three hundred [e]cubits, its breadth fifty [f]cubits, and its height thirty [g]cubits. 16 You shall make a [h]window for the ark, and finish it to a cubit from [i]the top; and set the door of the ark in the side of it; you shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 Behold, (H)I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish. 18 But I will establish (I)My covenant with you; and (J)you shall enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. 19 (K)And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. 20 (L)Of the birds after their kind, and of the animals after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive. 21 As for you, take for yourself some of all (M)food which is edible, and gather it to yourself; and it shall be for food for you and for them.” 22 (N)Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.
The Believer’s Rest
4 Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have (A)come short of it. 2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but (B)the word [a]they heard did not profit them, because [b]it was not united by faith in those who heard. 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,
“(C)As I swore in My wrath,
They shall not enter My rest,”
although His works were finished (D)from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has said (E)somewhere concerning the seventh day: “(F)And God (G)rested on the seventh day from all His works”; 5 and again in this passage, “(H)They shall not enter My rest.” 6 Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of (I)disobedience, 7 He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying [c]through David after so long a time just (J)as has been said before,
“(K)Today if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
8 For (L)if [d]Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. 9 So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10 For the one who has entered His rest has himself also (M)rested from his works, as (N)God did from His. 11 Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same (O)example of (P)disobedience. 12 For (Q)the word of God is (R)living and (S)active and sharper than any two-edged (T)sword, and piercing as far as the division of (U)soul and (V)spirit, of both joints and marrow, and (W)able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And (X)there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are (Y)open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
First Passover—Cleansing the Temple
13 (A)The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus (B)went up to Jerusalem. 14 (C)And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. 15 And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; 16 and to those who were selling (D)the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making (E)My Father’s house a [a]place of business.” 17 His (F)disciples remembered that it was written, “(G)Zeal for Your house will consume me.” 18 (H)The Jews then said to Him, “(I)What sign do You show us [b]as your authority for doing these things?” 19 Jesus answered them, “(J)Destroy this [c]temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 (K)The Jews then said, “It took (L)forty-six years to build this [d]temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21 But He was speaking of (M)the [e]temple of His body. 22 So when He was raised from the dead, His (N)disciples (O)remembered that He said this; and they believed (P)the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
