So Be Walking In Christ And Established In The Faith You Were Taught

⁶ As then you received Christ Jesus the^[a] Lord, be walking in Him— ⁷ having been rooted, and being built-up in Him, and being established in the^[b] faith just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Don’t Be Taken Captive By Human Thinking, Because All God’s Fullness Is In Christ

⁸ Be watching-out that there will not be anyone taking you captive through philosophy and empty deception according-to^[c] the tradition of humans, according to the elemental things^[d] of the world, and not according to Christ, ⁹ because in Him dwells all the fullness of the Deity^[e] bodily^[f].

You Are Complete In Christ, With Whom You Have Been Buried And Raised Up

¹⁰ And in Him you are complete^[g], Who is the head of all rule^[h] and authority, ¹¹ in Whom you also were circumcised with a circumcision not-done-by-human-hands, in^[i] the taking-off ^[j] of the body^[k] of the flesh in the circumcision of ^[l] Christ— ¹² having been buried-with Him in baptism, in which^[m] you also were raised-with Him through faith in the working of God, the One having raised Him from the dead.

²³ And in that day you will not question Me as to anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father anything in My name, He will give it to you. ²⁴ Until now you did not ask anything in My name. Be asking and you will receive, in order that your joy may be full.

Then I Will Speak To You Plainly About The Father

²⁵ “I have spoken these things to you in figures-of-speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures-of-speech, but I will tell you about the Father with plainness. ²⁶ In that day you will ask in My name. And I am not saying to you that I will request the Father on^[a] your behalf. ²⁷ For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. ²⁸ I came forth from the Father, and I have come into the world. Again^[b], I am leaving the world and going to the Father”.

But Soon You Will Be Scattered

²⁹ His disciples say, “Look— now You are speaking with plainness, and You are speaking no figure-of-speech. ³⁰ Now we know that You know all things, and You have no need that anyone question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God”.
