Version
Psalm 93

93 The LORD reigns and is clothed with majesty. The LORD is clothed and girded with power. Also, the world shall be established, so that it cannot be moved.

Your throne is established of old. You are from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD. The floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.

The waves of the sea are marvelous through the noise of many waters. The LORD on High is more mighty.

Your testimonies are very sure. Holiness becomes Your House, O LORD, forever.

Psalm 96

96 Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD all the Earth!

Sing to the LORD! Praise His Name! Declare His salvation from day to day.

Declare His Glory among all nations, His wonders among all people.

For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the people are idols. But the LORD made the heavens.

Strength and glory are before Him. Power and beauty are in His Sanctuary.

Give to the LORD, you families of the people! Give to the LORD glory and power!

Give to the LORD the glory of His Name. Bring an offering and enter into His courts.

Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary. Tremble before Him, all the Earth.

10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!” Surely, the world shall be stable and not move; and He shall judge the people in righteousness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the Earth be glad! Let the sea roar, and all that therein is.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it! Let all the trees of the wood then rejoice

13 before the LORD. For He comes. For He comes to judge the Earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people in His truth.

Psalm 34

34 I will always give thanks to the LORD. His praise shall be in my mouth continually.

My soul shall glory in the LORD. The humble shall hear it and be glad.

Praise the LORD with me; and let us magnify His Name together.

I sought the LORD, and He heard me. Indeed, He delivered me out of all my fear.

They shall look to Him and run; and their faces shall not be ashamed.

This poor man cried; and the LORD heard and saved him out of all his troubles.

The Angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

Taste and see how gracious the LORD is. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

Fear the LORD, you, His saints. For those who fear Him lack nothing.

10 The lions lack and suffer hunger. But those who seek the LORD shall lack nothing that is good.

11 Come children, hear me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 What man is he who desires life and loves long days to see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips, so that they speak no deceit.

14 Turn from evil and do good. Seek peace and follow after it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous; and His ears are open to their cry.

16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off their remembrance from the Earth.

17 The righteous cry and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is near to those who are of a contrite heart; and will save such as are afflicted in spirit.

19 Great are the troubles of the righteous. But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

20 He keeps all His bones. Not one of them is broken.

21 Malice shall slay the wicked; and those who hate the righteous shall perish.

22 The LORD redeems the souls of His servants; and no one who trusts in Him shall perish. A Psalm of David.

Genesis 44:1-17

44 Afterward, he commanded his steward, saying, “Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry; and put every man’s money in his sack’s mouth.

“And put my cup (I mean, the silver cup) in the sack’s mouth of the youngest, and his corn money.” And he did according to the commandment that Joseph gave.

And in the morning, the men were sent away (they and their donkeys).

And when they had not gone far out of the city, Joseph said to his steward, “Up! Follow after the men. And when you catch up to them, say, “Why have you rewarded evil for good?

“Is not that the cup wherein my lord drinks and in which he divines and prophesies? You have done evil by doing this!”

And when he caught up to them, he said these words to them.

And they answered him, “Why does my lord say such words? God forbid that your servants should do such a thing.

“Behold, we brought back to you (from the land of Canaan) the money which we found in our sacks’ mouths. Why, then, would we steal silver or gold out of your lord’s house?

“With whomever of your servants it is found, let him die; and we, also, will be my lord’s slaves.”

10 And he said, “Now then let it be as you say. He with whom it is found shall be my servant; and you shall be blameless.”

11 Then, at once, every man took down his sack to the ground; and everyone opened his sack.

12 And he searched and began at the eldest and finished at the youngest. And the cup was found in Benjamin’s sack.

13 Then they tore their clothes; and every man loaded his donkey and went again into the city.

14 So, Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house (for he was still there); and they fell on the ground before him.

15 Then Joseph said to them, “What act is this which you have done? Do you not know that such a man as I can divine and prophesy?”

16 Then Judah said, “What shall we say to my lord? What shall we speak? And how can we justify ourselves? God has revealed the wickedness of your servants. Behold, we are servants to my lord, both we and he with whom the cup is found.”

17 But he answered, “May it never be that I should do so. The man with whom the cup is found, he shall be my servant; and you shall go in peace to your father.”

Romans 8:1-10

Now, then, there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus; who do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the Law of the Spirit of life, Who is in Christ Jesus, has freed me from the Law of sin and of death.

For what the Law could not do (since it was weak because of the flesh) God did; having sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us; who do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For those who are after the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For the wisdom of the flesh is death. But the wisdom of the Spirit is life and peace.

Because the wisdom of the flesh is hostility toward God. For it is not subject to the Law of God, nor indeed can it be.

So, then, those who are in the flesh, cannot please God.

Now, you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Because the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, the same is not His.

10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin. But the Spirit is life, for righteousness’ sake.

John 5:25-29

25 “Truly, truly I say to you, the hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God. And those who hear it shall live.

26 “For as the Father has life in Himself, so likewise has He given to the Son, to have life in Himself.

27 “And has also given Him power to execute judgment, in that He is the Son of man.

28 “Do not marvel at this. For the hour shall come in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice.

29 “And those who have done good shall come forth to the resurrection of life; but those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
