21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 66-67

66 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands!

Sing forth the honor of His name; make His praise glorious.

Say unto God, “How fearsome art Thou in Thy works! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies submit themselves unto Thee.

All the earth shall worship Thee and shall sing unto Thee; they shall sing to Thy name.” Selah

Come and see the works of God; He is fearsome in His doings toward the children of men.

He turned the sea into dry land, they went through the flood on foot; there did we rejoice in Him.

He ruleth by His power for ever, His eyes behold the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

O bless our God, ye people; and make the voice of His praise to be heard,

who holdeth our soul in life and alloweth not our feet to be moved.

10 For Thou, O God, hast tried us; Thou hast tried us as silver is tried.

11 Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, but Thou broughtest us out into a fruitful place.

13 I will go into Thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay Thee my vows,

14 which my lips have uttered and my mouth hath spoken when I was in trouble.

15 I will offer unto Thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks and goats. Selah

16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what He hath done for my soul.

17 I cried unto Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue.

18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

19 But verily God hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!

67 God be merciful unto us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, Selah

that Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations.

Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee.

O let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for Thou shalt judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon the earth. Selah

Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee.

Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

Ezekiel 3:4-11

And He said unto me, “Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with My words unto them.

For thou art not sent to a people of strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel,

not to many people of strange speech and of a hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee, for they will not hearken unto Me; for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

As an adamant, harder than flint, have I made thy forehead. Fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.”

10 Moreover He said unto me, “Son of man, all My words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

11 And go, get thee to those of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them and tell them, ‘Thus saith the Lord God,’ whether they will hear or whether they will forbear.”

Acts 10:34-44

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said, “In truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons,

35 but in every nation he that feareth Him and worketh righteousness is accepted by Him.

36 The Word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all) —

37 that Word, I say, ye know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:

38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem — He whom they hanged on a tree and slew.

40 Him God raised up the third day and showed Him openly,

41 not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.

42 And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be the Judge of the quick and dead.

43 To Him all the prophets bear witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.”

44 While Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all those who heard the Word.

Psalm 118

118 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever!

Let Israel now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

Let the house of Aaron now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

Let them that fear the Lord now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

I called upon the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me, and set me in an ample place.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do unto me?

The Lord taketh my part among them that help me; therefore shall I see what I desire upon them that hate me.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

10 All the nations compassed me about, but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

11 They compassed me about, yea, they compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

12 They compassed me about like bees, they are quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

13 Thou hast thrust sorely at me that I might fall, but the Lord helped me.

14 The Lord is my strength and song, and has become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord hath chastened me sorely, but He hath not given me over unto death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord

20 this gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise Thee, for Thou hast heard me and art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders refused has become the head stone of the corner.

23 This is the Lord’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, I beseech Thee, O Lord; O Lord, I beseech Thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord, who hath shown us light; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.

29 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever!

John 21:15-22

15 So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou Me more than these?” He said unto Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” He said unto him, “Feed My lambs.”

16 He said to him again the second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou Me?” He said unto Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” He said unto him, “Feed My sheep.”

17 He said unto him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou Me?” Peter was grieved because He said unto him the third time, “Lovest thou Me?” And he said unto Him, “Lord, Thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love Thee.” Jesus said unto him, “Feed My sheep.

18 Verily, verily I say unto thee, when thou wast young, thou girded thyself and walked whither thou wouldest; but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.”

19 This spoke He, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said unto him, “Follow Me.”

20 Then Peter, turning about, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at supper, and said, “Lord, who is he that betrayeth Thee?”

21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, and what shall this man do?”

22 Jesus said unto him, “If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou Me.”
