Psalm 24

24 The earth is the Lord’S, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend onto the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Such is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek Thy face, O God of Jacob. Selah

Lift up your heads, O ye gates! And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Even lift them up, ye everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah

Psalm 29

29 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty; give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth; the Lord is upon many waters.

The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the Wilderness of Kadesh.

The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests, and in His temple doth every one speak of His glory.

10 The Lord sitteth over the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth as King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

Psalm 8

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth, who hast set Thy glory above the heavens!

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars which Thou hast ordained,

what is man that Thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that Thou dost visit him?

For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet,

all sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field,

the fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth!

Psalm 84

84 How amiable are Thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself where she may lay her young” even Thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house; they will be ever praising Thee. Selah

Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee, in whose heart are Thy ways,

who passing through the Valley of Baca makes it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

They go from strength to strength; every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of Thine anointed.

10 For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in Thee!

1 Corinthians 12:27-13:13

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

28 And God hath set some in the church: first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracle workers, then those with gifts of healing, helpers, administrators, and those with diversity of tongues.

29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?

30 Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

31 But covet earnestly the best gifts, and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not charity, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up;

doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth. But whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then shall I know, even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Matthew 18:21-35

21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”

22 And Jesus said unto him, “I say not unto thee, until seven times, but until seventy times seven.

23 “Therefore is the Kingdom of Heaven likened unto a certain king who would settle accounts with his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him who owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But inasmuch as he could not pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down and did homage to him, saying,‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.’

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred pence. And he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what thou owest.’

29 And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.’

30 And he would not, but went and cast him into prison till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after he had called him, said unto him, ‘O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me.

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?’

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother’s trespasses.”
