Version
Psalm 63

A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

¶ O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsts for thee; my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water;

in this manner I beheld thee in holiness when I beheld thy power and thy glory.

¶ Because thy mercy is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee in my life; in thy name shall I lift up my hands.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips

When I remember thee upon my bed and meditate on thee in the night watches.

¶ Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

My soul has followed hard after thee; thy right hand has upheld me.

But those that sought my soul, to destroy it, descended into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall be slain by the sword; they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall be praised; for the mouth of those that speak lies shall be stopped.

Psalm 98

A Psalm.

¶ O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things; his right hand has gotten him the victory, even the arm of his holiness.

The LORD has made known his saving health; he has openly showed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles.

He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the saving health of our God.

¶ Sing with joy unto the LORD, all the earth; lift up thy voice and rejoice and sing praises.

Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the voice of a song.

With trumpets and the sound of the shofar make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Let the sea roar and the fullness thereof, the world and those that dwell therein.

Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains be joyful together

before the LORD; for he has come to judge the earth; with righteousness he shall judge the world and the peoples with equity.

Psalm 103

A Psalm of David.

¶ Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless the name of his holiness.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases;

who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with mercy and compassion;

who satisfies thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

¶ The LORD executes righteousness and justice unto all that suffer violence.

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the sons of Israel.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He has not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth so does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our rebellions from us.

13 Like as a father has mercy upon his children, so the LORD has mercy upon those that fear him.

14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass; as an open flower of the field, so he blossoms.

16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those that fear him, and his righteousness unto the children’s children,

18 to such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 ¶ The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, valiant and strong, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts, ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

1 Corinthians 10:15-24

15 ¶ I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the fellowship of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the fellowship of the body of the Christ?

17 For one loaf of bread means that many are one body, for we are all partakers of that one loaf.

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not those who eat of the sacrifices participants of the altar?

19 What do I say then? that the idol is anything or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything?

20 But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I would not that ye should be participants of demons.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; ye cannot be participants of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

22 Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

23 ¶ All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but all things do not edify.

24 Let no one seek his own good, but that of the other.

Matthew 18:15-20

15 ¶ Therefore if thy brother shall sin against thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the congregation; {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} but if he neglects to hear the congregation, {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} let him be unto thee as a worldly man and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in the heaven; and whatever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in the heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in the heavens.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
