Psalm 117-118

117 1 He exhorteth the Gentiles to praise God, because he hath accomplished as well to them as to the Jews, the promise of life everlasting by Jesus Christ.

All (A)nations, praise ye the Lord: all ye people, praise him.

For his loving kindness is great toward us, and the [a]truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.

118 1 David rejected of Saul and of the people at the time appointed obtained the kingdom. 4 For the which he biddeth all them, that fear the Lord, to be thankful.  And under his person in all this was Christ lively set forth, who should be of his people rejected.

Praise [b]ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

Let the house of Aaron now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

Let them that fear the Lord, now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

I called upon the Lord in [c]trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.

The Lord is with me: therefore I will not fear what [d]man can do unto me.

The Lord is with me among them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon mine enemies.

It is better to trust in the Lord, than to have confidence [e]in man.

It is better to trust in the Lord, than to have confidence in princes.

10 All nations have compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.

11 They have compassed me, yea, they have compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.

12 They came about me like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thorns: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.

13 [f]Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath helped me.

14 The Lord is my strength and [g]song: for he hath been my deliverance.

15 The [h]voice of joy and deliverance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

16 [i]The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord had chastened me sore, but he hath not delivered me to death.

19 Open ye unto me the [j]gates of righteousness, that I may go into them, and praise the Lord.

20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and hast been my deliverance.

22 (B)The stone, which the builders [k]refused, is the head of the corner.

23 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes,

24 This is the [l]day, which the Lord hath made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25 [m]O Lord, I pray thee, save now: O Lord, I pray thee now give prosperity.

26 Blessed be he, that cometh in the Name of the Lord: [n]we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27 The Lord is mighty, and hath given us [o]light: bind the sacrifice with cords unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, even my God: therefore I will exalt thee.

29 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Psalm 112-113

112 1 He praiseth the felicity of them that fear God, 10 and condemneth the cursed state of the contemners of God.

Praise ye the Lord.

Blessed is the man that [a]feareth the Lord, and delighteth greatly in his commandments.

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

[b]Riches and treasures shall be in his house, and his righteousness endureth forever.

Unto the [c]righteous ariseth light in darkness: he is merciful and full of compassion and righteous.

A good man is merciful, and [d]lendeth, and will measure his affairs by judgment.

Surely he shall never be moved: but the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

He will not be afraid of evil tidings: for his heart is fixed, and believeth in the Lord.

His heart is established: therefore he will not fear, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

He hath [e]distributed and given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth forever: his [f]horn shall be exalted with glory.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be angry: he shall gnash with his teeth, and [g]consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

113 1 An exhortation to praise the Lord for his providence 7 in that that contrary to the course of nature he worketh in his Church.

Praise ye the Lord.

Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, [h]praise the Name of the Lord.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord from henceforth and forever.

The Lord’s Name is praised from the rising of the sun, unto the going down of the same.

The Lord is high above all [i]nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high.

Who abaseth himself to behold things in the heavens and in the earth!

He raiseth the needy out of the dust, and lifteth up the [j]poor out of the dung,

That he may set him with the princes, even with the princes of his people.

He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a family, and a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

Isaiah 59:15-21

15 Yea, truth faileth, and he that refraineth from evil, maketh himself [a]a prey: and when the Lord saw it, it displeased him, that there was no judgment.

16 And when he saw that there was no man, he wondered that none would offer himself. [b]Therefore his arm did [c]save it, and his righteousness itself did sustain it.

17 For he put on righteousness, as an habergeon, and an [d]helmet of salvation upon his head, and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18 As to make recompense, as to requite the fury of the adversaries with a recompense to his enemies: he will fully repair the [e]islands.

19 So shall they fear the Name of the Lord from the West, and his glory from the rising of the Sun; for the enemy shall [f]come like a flood; but the Spirit of the Lord shall chase him away.

20 And the Redeemer shall come unto Zion, and unto [g]them that turn from iniquity in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 And I will make this my Covenant with them, saith the Lord, My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words, which I have put in thy mouth, [h]shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of the seed of thy seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth even forever.

Revelation 2:8-17

[a]And unto the Angel of the Church of the [b]Smyrnians write, These things saith he that is first and last, which was dead and is alive.

[c]I know thy works and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them, which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan.

10 Fear none of those things, which thou shalt suffer: behold, it shall come to pass, that the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried, and ye shall have [d]tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto the death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

11 [e]Let him that hath an ear hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt [f]of the second death.

12 [g]And to the Angel of the Church, which is at [h]Pergamos write, Thus saith he which hath that sharp sword with two edges.

13 [i]I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s throne is, and thou keepest my Name, and hast not denied my faith, even in [j]those days when Antipas my faithful martyr was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that maintain the doctrine of (A)Balaam, which taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, that they should [k]eat of things sacrificed unto idols, and commit fornication.

15 Even so hast thou them that maintain the doctrine of the [l]Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

16 Repent thyself, or else I will come unto thee shortly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

17 [m]Let him that hath an ear, hear what the spirit saith unto the Churches. To him that overcometh, will I give to eat [n]of the [o]Manna that is hid, and will give him a [p][q]white stone, and in the stone a new [r]name written, which no man knoweth, saving he that receiveth it.

John 4:46-54

46 [a]And Jesus came again into (A)Cana a town of Galilee, where he had made of water wine. And there was a certain [b]ruler, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would go down, and heal his son: for he was even ready to die.

48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

49 The ruler said unto him, Sir, go down before my son dies.

50 Jesus said unto him, Go thy way, thy son liveth: and the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and went his way.

51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, saying, Thy son liveth.

52 Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday the seventh hour the fever left him.

53 Then the father knew that it was the same hour in the which Jesus had said unto him, Thy son liveth. And he believed, and all his household.

54 This second miracle did Jesus again, after he was come out of Judea into Galilee.
