Version
Psalm 148

Psalm 148

Hallelujah!

Praise Yahweh from the heavens.
Praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels.
Praise him, his entire heavenly army.
Praise him, sun and moon.
    Praise him, all shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heaven
and the water above the sky.
Let them praise the name of Yahweh
because they were created by his command.
He set them in their places forever and ever.
He made it a law that no one can break.

Praise Yahweh from the earth.
Praise him, large sea creatures and all the ocean depths,
lightning and hail,
    snow and fog,
strong winds that obey his commands,
mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedar trees,
10 wild animals and all domestic animals,
    crawling animals and birds,
11 kings of the earth and all its people,
officials and all judges on the earth,
12 young men and women,
    old and young together.
13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh
because his name is high above all others.
His glory is above heaven and earth.
14 He has given his people a strong leader,[a]
someone praiseworthy for his faithful ones,
for the people of Israel, the people who are close to him.

Hallelujah!

Psalm 150

Psalm 150

Hallelujah!

Praise El in his holy place.
Praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his mighty acts.
Praise him for his immense greatness.
Praise him with sounds from horns.
Praise him with harps and lyres.
Praise him with tambourines and dancing.
Praise him with stringed instruments and flutes.
Praise him with loud cymbals.
    Praise him with crashing cymbals.

Let everything that breathes praise Yah!

Hallelujah!

Psalm 91-92

Psalm 91

Whoever lives under the shelter of Elyon
will remain in the shadow of Shadday.
I will say to Yahweh,
“You are my Machseh and my Metsuda, my Elohim in whom I trust.”

He is the one who will rescue you from hunters’ traps
    and from deadly plagues.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge.
His truth is your shield and armor.

You do not need to fear
    terrors of the night,
arrows that fly during the day,
plagues that roam the dark,
    epidemics that strike at noon.
They will not come near you,
even though a thousand may fall dead beside you
or ten thousand at your right side.

You only have to look with your eyes
to see the punishment of wicked people.

You, O Yahweh, are my Machseh!

You have made Elyon your home.
10 No harm will come to you.
No sickness will come near your house.
11 He will put his angels in charge of you
to protect you in all your ways.
12 They will carry you in their hands
so that you never hit your foot against a rock.
13 You will step on lions and cobras.
You will trample young lions and snakes.

14 Because you love me, I will rescue you.
I will protect you because you know my name.
15 When you call to me, I will answer you.
I will be with you when you are in trouble.
I will save you and honor you.
16 I will satisfy you with a long life.
I will show you how I will save you.

Psalm 92

A psalm; a song; for the day of worship.

It is good to give thanks to Yahweh,
to make music to praise your name, O Elyon.
It is good to announce your mercy in the morning
and your faithfulness in the evening
        on a ten-stringed instrument and a harp
and with a melody on a lyre.

You made me find joy in what you have done, O Yahweh.
I will sing joyfully about the works of your hands.
How spectacular are your works, O Yahweh!
How very deep are your thoughts!

A stupid person cannot know
    and a fool cannot understand
that wicked people sprout like grass
and all troublemakers blossom like flowers,
                only to be destroyed forever.

But you, O Yahweh, are highly honored forever.
Now look at your enemies, O Yahweh.
    Now look at your enemies.
They disappear, and all troublemakers are scattered.

10 But you make me as strong as a wild bull,
and soothing lotion is poured on me.
11 My eyes gloat over those who spy on me.
My ears hear the cries of evildoers attacking me.

12 Righteous people flourish like palm trees
and grow tall like the cedars in Lebanon.
13 They are planted in Yahweh’s house.
    They blossom in Elohim’s courtyards.
14 Even when they are old, they still bear fruit.
They are always healthy and fresh.
15 They make it known that Yahweh is decent.
    He is my rock.
        He is never unfair.

Isaiah 55:3-9

Open your ears, and come to me!
Listen so that you may live!
I will make an everlasting promise[a] to you—
the blessings I promised to David.
I made him a witness to people,
a leader and a commander for people.
You will summon a nation that you don’t know,
and a nation that doesn’t know you will run to you
        because of Yahweh your Elohim,
        because of Qedosh Yisrael.
            He has honored you.”

Seek Yahweh while he may be found.
Call on him while he is near.
Let wicked people abandon their ways.
Let evil people abandon their thoughts.
    Let them return to Yahweh,
and he will show compassion to them.
Let them return to our Elohim,
because he will freely forgive them.

“My thoughts are not your thoughts,
and my ways are not your ways,” declares Yahweh.
“Just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways,
and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.”

Colossians 3:1-17

Live as God’s People

Since you were brought back to life with Christ, focus on the things that are above—where Christ holds the highest position. Keep your mind on things above, not on worldly things. You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Christ is your life. When he appears, then you, too, will appear with him in glory.

Therefore, put to death whatever is worldly in you: your sexual sin, perversion, passion, lust, and greed (which is the same thing as worshiping wealth). It is because of these sins that God’s anger comes on those who refuse to obey him.[a] You used to live that kind of sinful life. Also get rid of your anger, hot tempers, hatred, cursing, obscene language, and all similar sins. Don’t lie to each other. You’ve gotten rid of the person you used to be and the life you used to live, 10 and you’ve become a new person. This new person is continually renewed in knowledge to be like its Creator. 11 Where this happens, there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, uncivilized person, slave, or free person. Instead, Christ is everything and in everything.

12 As holy people whom God has chosen and loved, be sympathetic, kind, humble, gentle, and patient. 13 Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 Above all, be loving. This ties everything together perfectly. 15 Also, let Christ’s peace control you. God has called you into this peace by bringing you into one body. Be thankful. 16 Let Christ’s word with all its wisdom and richness live in you. Use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to teach and instruct yourselves about God’s kindness.[b] Sing to God in your hearts. 17 Everything you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

John 14:6-14

Yeshua answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will also know my Father. From now on you know him through me and have seen him in me.”

Philip said to Yeshua, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will satisfy us.”

Yeshua replied, “I have been with all of you for a long time. Don’t you know me yet, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father. So how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? What I’m telling you doesn’t come from me. The Father, who lives in me, does what he wants. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe me because of the things I do.

12 “I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to the Father. 13 I will do anything you ask the Father in my name so that the Father will be given glory because of the Son. 14 If you ask me to do something, I will do it.
