  1. And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

  7. they shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
  8. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
  9. And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
  10. All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
  11. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
  12. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
  13. Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
  14. Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
  15. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
  16. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
  17. (for all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
  18. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
  19. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.
  20. And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
  21. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
  22. Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
  23. The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.
  24. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
  25. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
