  1. Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it.
  2. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

  8. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
  9. Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith

    Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
  10. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
  11. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.
  12. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
