  1. So he said to his brothers, “My money has been returned, and look, it is right in my sack!” Then their hearts sank, and they turned trembling to one another, saying, “What is this that God has done to us?”
  2. Water Turned into Blood

    Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go.
  3. Beware that your hearts are not easily deceived, and that you do not turn away and serve other gods, and worship them.

  8. But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but allow yourself to be led astray and you worship other gods and serve them,

  20. Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, so that His burning anger may turn away from us.
  21. He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear allegiance by God. But he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord God of Israel.
  22. And they held the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with joy, because the Lord had made them happy, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them to encourage them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
  23. If my step has turned from the way, Or my heart followed my eyes, Or if any spot has stuck to my hands,

  27. On Life and Conduct

    The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He pleases.

  34. The anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; In the last days you will clearly understand it.
  35. The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has performed and accomplished The intent of His heart. In the latter days you will understand this.
  36. I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts, so that they will not turn away from Me.
  37. The joy of our hearts has ended; Our dancing has been turned into mourning.
  38. Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be taken captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which committed infidelity with their idols; and they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed, for all their abominations.
  39. in order to take hold of the hearts of the house of Israel who have turned away from Me due to all their idols.”’
  40. And they do not cry to Me from their heart When they wail on their beds; For the sake of grain and new wine they assemble themselves, They turn against Me.
  41. How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned over within Me, All My compassions are kindled.
  42. He will turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with complete destruction.”
  43. And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
  44. Our fathers were unwilling to be obedient to him; on the contrary they rejected him and turned back to Egypt in their hearts,
