  11. The Captivity of Jerusalem

    And he carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, and he cut in pieces all the articles of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.

  19. The Decree of Darius

    Then King Darius issued a decree, and a search was made in the archives, where the treasures were stored in Babylon.
  20. And I, even I, Artaxerxes the king, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the region beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, may require of you, let it be done diligently,
