  198. When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
  199. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

  223. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
  224. Not that the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.
  225. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
  226. The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up

    “Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour.
  227. Jesus Came to Save the World

    And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.
  228. If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
  229. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
  230. And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”
  231. praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

  233. he will declare to you a message by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’
  234. The Jerusalem Council

    But some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
  235. But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.”
  236. Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

  250. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
  251. Christ the Wisdom and Power of God

    For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
  252. For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.
  253. If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

  265. Stand Firm

    But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
  266. Christ Jesus Came to Save Sinners

    I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service,
  267. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
  268. who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
  269. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
  270. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.

  277. Faith Without Works Is Dead

    What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
  278. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
  279. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
  280. let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
  281. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
  282. And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
  283. Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
