  1. From within the realm of the dead the mighty leaders will say of Egypt and her allies, ‘They have come down and they lie with the uncircumcised, with those killed by the sword.’

  19. The next day the crowd that had stayed on the opposite shore of the lake realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not entered it with his disciples, but that they had gone away alone.
  20. Once the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus.
  21. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
  22. Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah?
  23. Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are

    To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.
  24. You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”
  25. At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.
