But as for that in the good soil—these are the ones who, having heard with an honest and good heart, hold firmly onto the word and bear fruit through patient endurance.

If · we are distressed, it is for · your encouragement and salvation; if we are encouraged, it is for · your encouragement that you experience in your patient endurance of the same sufferings that we also suffer.

And thus by patient endurance, Abraham received what had been promised.
