  467. In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.
  468. Paul and Silas in Prison

    As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling.
  469. But when her owners saw that their hope of gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers.
  470. for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’

  472. But since it is a matter of questions about words and names and your own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of these things.”
  473. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
  474. and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.
  475. And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

  487. The Mystery of Israel's Salvation

    Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
  488. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.

  492. and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;
