Denunciation of Godlessness

Fools say in their hearts, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is no one who does good.

My wounds grow foul and fester because of my foolishness;

Deliver me from all my transgressions. Do not make me the scorn of the fool.

When we look at the wise, they die; fool and dolt perish together and leave their wealth to others.
