  30. Hypocrisy Rebuked

As they have chosen their own ways, And their souls delight in their abominations,
  31. And I will appoint over them four kinds of doom,” declares the Lord: “the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, and the birds of the sky and the animals of the earth to devour and destroy.
  32. “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
  33. Yet He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
  34. And she said, “Yes, Lord; but please help, for even the dogs feed on the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

  36. But she answered and *said to Him, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”
  37. and longing to be fed from the scraps which fell from the rich man’s table; not only that, the dogs also were coming and licking his sores.
  38. Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;
  39. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”
  40. Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
