The Doom of Sodom
Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting at the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he stood up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.

When morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away in the punishment of the city.”

And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Jacob’s Fear of Esau
Now as Jacob went on his way, the angels of God met him.

For He will give His angels orders concerning you, To protect you in all your ways.

Bless the Lord, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!

Bless the Lord, all you His angels, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His heavenly armies!

So it will happen on that day, That the Lord will punish the rebellious angels of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.

and he *said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written: ‘He will give His angels orders concerning You’; and ‘On their hands they will lift You up, So that You do not strike Your foot against a stone.’”

Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to serve Him.

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,

So it will be at the end of the age: the angels will come forth and remove the wicked from among the righteous,

For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every person according to his deeds.

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

“But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

The Judgment
“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.
