  16. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”
  17. Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”
  18. Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.
  19. Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
  20. Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
  21. And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
  22. And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,
  23. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.
  24. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
  25. But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.
