  1. Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.
  2. Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

  23. Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
  24. As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
