  1. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

    Saul Persecutes the Church

  18. The Council’s Letter to Gentile Believers

    Then the apostles and the elders, with the consent of the whole church, decided to choose men from among them and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leaders among the brothers,
  19. He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
  20. So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in numbers daily.
  21. When he had landed at Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem and greeted the church and then went down to Antioch.
  22. Paul Speaks to the Ephesian Elders

    From Miletus he sent a message to Ephesus, asking the elders of the church to meet him.
  23. Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.
