  1. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.

    But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided;

  11. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
  12. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them; they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
  13. The Quails

    And there went forth a wind from the Lord, and it brought quails from the sea, and let them fall beside the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and about two cubits above the face of the earth.
  14. Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was built into the city wall, so that she dwelt in the wall.
  15. Behold, when we come into the land, you shall bind this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down; and you shall gather into your house your father and mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household.
  16. And she said, “According to your words, so be it.” Then she sent them away, and they departed; and she bound the scarlet cord in the window.

  18. So Michal let David down through the window; and he fled away and escaped.
  19. As the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window, and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.
  20. He rode on a cherub, and flew; he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
  21. And he made for the house windows with recessed frames.
  22. There were window frames in three rows, and window opposite window in three tiers.
  23. All the doorways and windows had square frames, and window was opposite window in three tiers.
  24. And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.
  25. And he said, “Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake;
