  1. From Adam to Noah

    This is the written account of Adam’s family line. When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.
  2. The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
  3. But now, please forgive their sin—but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.”
  4. The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

  10. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
