  1. These shall be its measurements: the north side four thousand five hundred cubits, the south side four thousand five hundred, the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand five hundred.
  2. The entire district shall be twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand cubits, foursquare. You shall set apart the holy district with the property of the city.

  4. The Gates of the City and Its Name

  5. on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, and one gate for Dan;
  6. on the south side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Simeon, one gate for Issachar, and one gate for Zebulun;
  7. on the west side, four thousand five hundred cubits with their three gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali.
  8. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
  9. Feeding the Five Thousand

    When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.
  10. And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
  11. Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
  12. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
  13. Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up?
  14. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

    And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
  26. But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
  27. For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.”

    After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
  38. “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
  39. Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
  40. Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
  41. However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.
