  1. Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were thinking that way within themselves, *said to them, “Why are you thinking about these things in your hearts?
  2. And whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You are the Son of God!”

  12. And they brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him, the spirit immediately threw him into convulsions, and falling to the ground, he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth.
  13. When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again!”
  14. David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
  15. And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit.
  16. Keep watching and praying, so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

  20. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
  21. And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
  22. Zechariah’s Prophecy

    And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying:
