  1. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

  18. And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
  19. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
  20. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
  21. Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
  22. I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
  23. Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
  24. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
  25. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
