But so you will know that the Human One has authority on the earth to forgive sins” —he said to the man who was paralyzed—“Get up, take your cot, and go home.”

Whenever they harass you in one city, escape to the next, because I assure that you will not go through all the cities of Israel before the Human One comes.

Yet the Human One came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved to be right by her works.”

The Human One is Lord of the Sabbath.”

And whoever speaks a word against the Human One will be forgiven. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit won’t be forgiven, not in this age or in the age that is coming.

Just as Jonah was in the whale’s belly for three days and three nights , so the Human One will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Jesus replied, “The one who plants the good seed is the Human One.

The Human One will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that cause people to fall away and all people who sin.

Peter’s declaration about Jesus

Now when Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Human One is?”

For the Human One is about to come with the majesty of his Father with his angels. And then he will repay each one for what that person has done.

I assure you that some standing here won’t die before they see the Human One coming in his kingdom.”

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Don’t tell anybody about the vision until the Human One is raised from the dead.”

In fact, I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they didn’t know him. But they did to him whatever they wanted. In the same way the Human One is also going to suffer at their hands.”

Second prediction of Jesus’ death and resurrection

When the disciples came together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Human One is about to be delivered over into human hands.

Jesus said to them, “I assure you who have followed me that, when everything is made new, when the Human One sits on his magnificent throne, you also will sit on twelve thrones overseeing the twelve tribes of Israel.

“Look, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Human One will be handed over to the chief priests and legal experts. They will condemn him to death.

just as the Human One didn’t come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life to liberate many people.”

Just as the lightning flashes from the east to the west, so it will be with the coming of the Human One.

Coming of the Human One

“Now immediately after the suffering of that time the sun will become dark, and the moon won’t give its light. The stars will fall from the sky and the planets and other heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Then the sign of the Human One will appear in the sky. At that time all the tribes of the earth will be full of sadness, and they will see the Human One coming in the heavenly clouds with power and great splendor.

In the same way, when you see all these things, you know that the Human One is near, at the door.

As it was in the time of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Human One.

They didn’t know what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. The coming of the Human One will be like that.

Therefore, you also should be prepared, because the Human One will come at a time you don’t know.

Judgment of the nations

“Now when the Human One comes in his majesty and all his angels are with him, he will sit on his majestic throne.
