    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
  2. Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

    Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
  3. By Grace Through Faith

    And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
  4. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
  5. in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
  6. that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
  7. one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
  8. till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
  9. above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
  10. A Gracious Greeting

    But that you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;
  11. Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  12. And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,
  13. Striving and Suffering for Christ

    Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,
  14. Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
  15. and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
  16. To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  17. Their Faith in Christ

    We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
  18. since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;
  19. as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,
  20. if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
  21. For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
  22. rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
  23. buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
  24. Final Greetings

    Tychicus, a beloved brother, faithful minister, and fellow servant in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me.
  25. with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things which are happening here.
