  1. Now then, take your stand, so that I may enter into judgment with you before the Lord concerning all the righteous acts of the Lord that He did for you and your fathers.
  2. And the Lord will repay each man for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the Lord handed you over to me today, but I refused to reach out with my hand against the Lords anointed.

  8. Solomon’s Prayer

    Then Solomon said, “You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
  9. then hear in heaven and act and judge Your servants, condemning the wicked by bringing his way on his own head, and acquitting the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness.
  10. Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you to put you on the throne of Israel; because the Lord loves Israel forever, He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.”
  11. then hear from heaven and take action and judge Your servants, punishing the wicked by bringing his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous by repaying him according to his righteousness.
  12. Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you, setting you on His throne as king for the Lord your God; because your God loved Israel, establishing them forever, He made you king over them, to carry out justice and righteousness.”
  13. So the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, “The Lord is righteous.”
  14. You found his heart faithful before You, And made a covenant with him To give him the land of the Canaanite, Of the Hittite and the Amorite, Of the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite— To give it to his descendants. And You have fulfilled Your promise, Because You are righteous.
  15. Please turn away, let there be no injustice; Turn away, my righteousness is still in it.
  16. Nevertheless the righteous will hold to his way, And the one who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
  17. Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are righteous, Or gain if you make your ways blameless?
  18. The righteous see and are glad, And the innocent mock them, saying,
  19. How then can mankind be righteous with God? Or how can anyone who is born of woman be pure?
  20. He may prepare it, but the righteous will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.
  21. Elihu Rebukes Job in Anger

    Then these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
  22. Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, So that he may see His face with joy, And He will restore His righteousness to that person.
  23. Shall one who hates justice rule? And will you condemn the righteous mighty One,
  24. He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous, But with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.
  25. The Almighty—we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness.
