  1. And he said to him, “Behold, I grant you this request also, not to overthrow the town of which you have spoken.
  2. It is as I have spoken to Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.
  3. Then Moses said to the Lord, “Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
  4. Moses said, “You have spoken correctly; I shall never see your face again!”
  5. Then the Lord said to Moses, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.
  6. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens, and all this land of which I have spoken I will give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’”
  7. The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing of which you have spoken; for you have found favor in My sight and I have known you by name.”
  8. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ declares the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you;
  9. I, the Lord, have spoken, I certainly will do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. They shall be worn out in this wilderness, and there they shall die.’”
  10. So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.
  11. “Now the Lord heard the sound of your words when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, ‘I have heard the sound of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have done well in all that they have spoken.
  12. And the Lord said to me, ‘They have spoken well.
  13. Sign of the Fleece

    Then Gideon said to God, “If You are going to save Israel through me, as You have spoken,
  14. behold, I am putting a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that You will save Israel through me, as You have spoken.”
  15. Then she said, “I have found favor in your sight, my lord, for you have comforted me and indeed have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not like one of your female servants.”
  16. Do not consider your bond-servant a useless woman, for I have spoken until now out of my great concern and provocation.”
  17. On that day I will carry out against Eli everything that I have spoken in regard to his house, from beginning to end.
  18. As for the agreement of which you and I have spoken, behold, the Lord is between you and me forever.”
  19. And I might demean myself even more than this and be lowly in my own sight, but with the female slaves of whom you have spoken, with them I am to be held in honor!”
  20. And yet this was insignificant in Your eyes, Lord God, for You have spoken also of the house of Your servant regarding the distant future. And this is the custom of mankind, Lord God.
  21. Now then, Lord God, the word that You have spoken about Your servant and his house, confirm it forever, and do just as You have spoken,
  22. And now, may it please You to bless the house of Your servant, so that it may continue forever before You. For You, Lord God, have spoken; and with Your blessing may the house of Your servant be blessed forever.”
  23. You who have kept with Your servant, my father David, that which You promised him; You have spoken with Your mouth and have fulfilled it with Your hand, as it is this day.
  24. Now then, God of Israel, let Your words, please, be confirmed, which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.
  25. He said to them, “What advice do you give, so that we may answer this people who have spoken to me, saying, ‘Lighten the yoke which your father put on us’?”
