  1. Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf.
  2. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

  10. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?
  11. Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
  12. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
  13. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
  14. Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning.
  15. I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
  16. But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,
  17. For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
  18. For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.
  19. Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.
  20. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
  21. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
  22. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
  23. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
  24. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
  25. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.
