  1. He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

  6. God’s Sovereign Choice

  10. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
  11. But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
  12. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
  13. But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
  14. Ingrafted Branches

    Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
  15. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
  16. All Israel Will Be Saved

    I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,
  17. and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
  18. For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
  19. For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
  20. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
  21. so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
  22. One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.
  23. You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.
  24. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.
  25. And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol him.”
