  1. Those who strive with Yahweh shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “Yahweh will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

  12. But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” Samuel prayed to Yahweh.
  13. that we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.”
  14. May Yahweh judge between me and you, and may Yahweh avenge me of you; but my hand will not be on you.
  15. May Yahweh therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and you, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of your hand.”
