Death of Eli

A man of Benjamin ran from the battle line and came to Shiloh the same day, with his clothes torn and with earth upon his head.

Saul clothed David with his armor; he put a bronze helmet on his head and clothed him with a coat of mail.

Michal took an idol and laid it on the bed; she put a net of goats’ hair on its head and covered it with the clothes.

So Saul disguised himself and put on other clothes and went there, he and two men with him. They came to the woman by night. And he said, “Consult a spirit for me, and bring up for me the one whom I name to you.”
