  1. God’s Final Word: His Son

    In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
  2. But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?

  14. Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
  15. By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.
  16. God Disciplines His Children

    In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
  17. Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?
  18. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
