  1. But regarding the Son He says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.
  2. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
  3. For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
  4. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
  5. He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.
  6. for our God is a consuming fire.
  7. And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
